Sorry you making up a narrative to align with your point of view does nothing for me. I have ALWAYS maintained that I don't care about numbers as long as we win.. Dak can throw for 100 yards and zero TDs and I will be happy if we win.. And if he throws for 450 yards and 3 TDs and we lose I will be unhappy.. Now if he hands the defense a lead with less than 2 minutes left and the defense gives up the lead I might be tempted to say "Dak did enough to win.." but I am still going to be miserable after a loss. That's just how I'm wired.. I suspect most Cowboys fans fall into that camp.

That doesn’t hold well because when Dak threw for 500 last season, folks were complaining that we lost, or most of his yards came from “garbage time.”

If he throws for 400 this year the excuses will be,

“He threw 400 against the ____, but he couldn’t do that against a top 5 defense like Carolina”

or

“He has Lamb, Cooper, and great pass protection”

or

“Kellen Moore is the reason why Dak looks good.”

The reality is that certain folks have issues with Dak that are not football related and there’s nothing that will change there minds.

Yeah same here. Who cares how many yards or TD's the Cowboys QB passes for as long as the TEAM wins. The haters just make this stuff up to make themselves feel better about their hate.

But you do root for Prescott to have success so you can start threads to go after the haters.

If Prescott had a great game and was productive and the defense or special teams was pure garbage, of course Prescott is still considered a fan favorite.

The question is, why wouldn't he be?

Sue me.. I like poking fun at trolls.. I root for Prescott to have success because that helps my team win.. You keep managing to leave out that part of the equation. If he doesn't have success it's MUCH harder for my team to win.. Not that it can't.. but it's a lot easier when your QB is playing his arse off.

Dak has improved in pretty much every aspect that I had criticized him about or had given me reservations about him being the long term QB for this team. I think that's where a lot of people were on him. They didn't hate him, they just felt he still had areas to improve to justify the massive contract. And then of course, yeah, some people just hate him like they hated Romo. Blame the QB for literally everything, give them credit for nothing.

My only complaint is that i feel he holds the ball too long sometimes under pressure and will take a sack instead of throwing it away. A minor complaint, rarely comes up but it happens.

Dak's playoff losses both occurred when the opponent scored 30 or more points. The Cowboys have never won a playoff game when that happens, regardless of their quarterback.

Looks like we might have a defense good enough to win playoff games, but there's a lot of football to played between now and then.

I do not believe I have called anyone out. I have attacked the (bogus) arguments and not any poster or posters and will continue to do so. I talk football.. I have no interest in getting into these ridiculous name calling contests. Dak is ballin and debunking all these idiotic narratives week by week. I am duty bound to call attention to that fact. It's not like they're going to stop with their idiotic posts claiming he's not this or he's not that and coming with made up statistics to justify their flawed stance.
