That's what happens when you expect somebody is going to do something and they don't do it.

Both seemed surprised the other didn't get the int.

I like the train of thought. I can't rely on the safety. I take full responsibility.

I mentioned Kazee was the safety who took a horrible angle but was told by another poster it was Donovan Wilson , I’m almost positive it was 18 Kazee. Diggs has to have help over the top with the safety , at most it’s a 20 -25 yard gain obviously not go to the house. The Cowboys have a gem in Diggs , hopefully K Joseph with a bye week can help with the Chiefs coming on the schedule to throw and throw

That was a great call by McDaniels. Gutsy as hell to target the guy who just picked 6 you the play before. Absolutely caught Diggs and Kazee flat-footed and unprepared.

Well, he can be a great teammate and take the blame on himself, but even Stevie Wonder could see the safety took a bad angle and did not make the tackle.

true. Sure he got beat, being aggressive,
But he’s only that aggressive because he believes the safety won’t let the guy take it to the house.

Was terrible play. Safety missed the play and at the worst time. But didn’t Diggs get a pick.

It seemed to me that Diggs pulled back at the last second because he thought Kazee had it. I have no idea what Kazee was doing.

Pretty obvious Kazee thought Diggs had it and Diggs thought the same. Stinks. I played safety growing up and know this exact feeling. Especially next to a play making CB

He thought the same thing Diggs did

The angle was ridiculous..it was so off ...made it wierd . Then he acted like he was about to get the ball...again just wierd.

That's a good teammate without sitting down and figuring out what happened. Let the coaches review the film with the players and figure out the miscommunication.

I thought that was going to get picked by Kazee. I think Diggs did too.

Maybe but you cannot think someone else is going to make the play and you give up. So in that sense Diggs is partly at fault.

I think both are at fault. No reason for Diggs to bite on a double move at that point in the game. Keep things in front of you. Kazee obviously took an awful angle.

He can take the high road and thats cool for team chemistry, but every coach and player on that team knows the safety blew that play big time. What a horrible angle to the ball.
