I got offensive Tackle as our #1 priority every off-season going forward until we get one or someone emerges.

We’re going to be drafting 32nd so we just need to take the best player available.

Josh Ball would have gone much higher if it wasn’t for the DV. Don’t write him off.

We might need a SDE if we cut Hot Boy to save cap money. If we keep Demarcus Lee I’d be interested in trading up for the Iowa OC.

Usually very good value for OL around 32.

Top OT usually gone by 32 but a starting G and C can be had. We need to boaster our OL again to dominating form.

If we added (or one of the rookies becomes) a legit CB#2 we would be deep at corner. Right now we are still not great at corner. Let's not get fooled by playing an Atlanta WR group with a good TE, but without their only good WR. Atlanta WRs last week were very poor. Let's see how our guys look next week if we are going to start pretending they are a strength.

Just my 2 cents

I believe in taking most worthy . Best available no thank you. Draft for need, no thank you. You take the player that deserves being drafted at the spot where you’re drafting.

Keep in mind neither Brown nor Lewis are free agents any time soon, they have become very good CB2 and CB3. Diggs is a great CB1 and Joseph played meaningful snaps at CB4 in the dime yesterday, even when the game was close in the first half. In the second half, Joseph played like a boss and shut down his man.... a couple PBUs in a row... it was awesome to see.

Nahshon Wright - CB5 but back to back games with big plays on special teams. Obviously last week it went against us, but good hustle nonetheless. He's a great core special teamer with that freak height and speed. Hopefully we can get Mukuamu active and doing the same thing too soon. I believe Mukuamu is a similar athlete to Wright but also a big hitter and can deliver some punishment on ST and eventually play meaningful snaps at SS.

Cowboys don't need to draft a corner high next year.

What we'll need is another edge rusher, a LG/C to replace Williams or Biadasz, and a nose tackle. Maybe an inside linebacker for depth, but Cox will be back by training camp next year. We're pretty deep across the board if we keep our own best free agents (Gallup, Gregory, Kearse, Schultz, and choose between Hooker or Kazee).

Joseph in Dime?

He played 11 snaps on D.
Diggs played all but 9 snaps

Gifford played 9 snaps on D.
Bernard played 9 snaps on D.

Conclusion: Joseph played 2 snaps before the backups were inserted.

Great example of why teams should draft BPA and not draft for need.

Percieved need in April is often not the top need during the season.

Just last week you said the entire team sucked. Do you actually think we forgot?

It should be interesting to see how Connor McGovern makes out, given the opportunity to compete with, or replace Williams at LG. It seems a bit odd that he wasn't successful, thus far, in beating out Connor Williams for that spot. Plenty of guesswork has already transpired, to be sure.

If Williams doesn't fare well vs. KC this Sunday, we might be able to see the results of that situation in the aftermath of that game. I'm sure many here would be interested in seeing McGovern taking over at LG, to discover just how well he might handle it. Evidently, the staff is already considering it, judging by McCarthy's recent comments on the matter. ;)

Bullcrap. We're paper thin and need to add a lot more.

This thread pisses me off.

Not only are Cowboys getting deeper at CB but the corners have all improved as season progressed (except for Joseph, but just got back).

Not only corners have improved but DL, ST and OL have improved as well.

Crazy how the rising tide raises all boats.

Only exception is the safeties, most of safeties not named Kearse have regressed.

Even LVE has improved. But Neal needs to get his head out of ace soon.

Tyrone is in yr 11 and although Steele has had a good year an OT needs to be looked at somewhere in 2022 especially if Josh Ball remains invisible and you don’t know what you have as depth.

Our 2021 2nd round pick should have been OL.

mid prefer OL or DL
