He should have been cut immediately after this unwarranted attack that took place AFTER the game. You got punched in the mouth during the game by the Raiders and then after the game you want to act all tuff and throw a haymaker at an unsuspecting player. Cut or Release, send a message to these over hyped, over paid, underachievers....................

Eat a snickers bar.

I'm sure he doesn't believe that.. But he does believe he has a right to this process and likely got a call from the NFLPA advising him to do it. Because two games if F ing heavy handed for a head slap.

I think the league likes to put an exclamation point on games where they've clearly F d you over, just so you know that they are entirely unapologetic and will gladly F you over again for complaining.

It was better in the 60's and 70's when throwing punches was just part of the game

LOL, the only thing wrong was he didn't body him and follow it up with a left uppercut...and keep your freaking helmet on knucklehead. This guy just seems to find ways to avoid playing time.

I miss the days of hearing the announcer say both benches are empty when both teams hit the field for a brawl:oldcouple:

I disagree. Fine him, but unless players get suspended every time they try landing a haymaker, then no. And it's a fact that the officiating is grossly inconsistent.

The rules are clear. That's a suspension-worthy action. It's uncool that they are arbitrary in enforcement, but it's simple. Don't want to be suspended? Don't violate rules that have suspension as a punishment.

The good news is that the league has reduced Hill's suspension to one game, as reported, today. He'll be missed vs. the Saints, though.
