Too bad the offense has officially peaked and been exposed. The O-line cannot be fixed at this point in season, Dak’s calf injury messed him up mentally, and Zeke is just injured and needs to be sat for a game of two even tho Jerry’s drunk arse doesn’t see that.
Win or lose, your slant is consistent!✊

Does everyone realize that the Cowboys will have the assumed starting D-line for the very first time this season? They played the majority of the games without their entire starting D-line. The line has been composed of backups, some of them would not have made the team had it not been for the injuries to all the starters.

Game #13 may have Lawrence, Gallimore, Hill, and Gregory finally playing together. I don't expect them to all start at first, they will be brought into the rotation. However, we are talking about re-acquiring the services of a #2 draft pick and 3 #3 draft picks, all on the D-line.

Now add in Parsons at LB and the two safeties we have starting. Is that not a run defense preparing for the playoffs?

Perhaps Wilson comes back and we now have our top 4 receivers playing together. Add in Steele for more O-line depth, one way or another.

I'll say this again. The NFL has yet to see the Dallas Cowboys play this season.

So, which two players will be cut to make room for them? I guess Hamilton will be one. Kamara the other one? Unless some players catch a cold or there are some injuries.

I doubt they get rid of Hamilton, at least yet. Maybe once Gallimore works up to a full load.

But one of the ways we can make up for lack of talent at DT is more rotation, keeping guys fresh. IMO, we unfortunately still need Hamilton and Watkins.

Our defense should be going to the next level very soon then.

A big weakness I see right now is those mid level crossing routes against man coverage. They’re just running a WR across the field and that’s very tough for a corner to guard against in man.
The box players need to start knocking the crap out of those crossing Wr's, it's legal within 5 yards of the LOS and great defenses do it frequently. They need to set a no nonsense tone of dominance in the middle of the field.

The Cowboys cannot run the ball, but if Prescott can do enough to win we can win the Super Bowl winning games like 24-13 or 20-10. Ugly but dominant on defense.
To be fair...Dallas beat a depleted Saints team with a gimmick quarterback throwing with a bad finger...and most importantly, without Alvin Kamara. IOW...it was always an offense that should never really threaten them. They were +3 in turnover differential but the game felt much closer (especially after Prescott's INT) until Watkins collected the most egregious of Hill's four INTs.

They struggled to put away a team that is going in the wrong direction. In the playoffs they will face teams with REAL quarterbacks. We will see how chuck ball works then.

I wouldn't mention this team in the same sentence as the word Superbowl. Not right now. God don't like ugly...as my mama used to say.

Gallimore was projected as the best DT, and Lawrence as the best DE.

And we just got Tyron and Collins back too.

We're a much better team if those guys can play up to expectations.

Not only that but Hill played well in his one game. Let's not forget about Gregory who had 5 sacks IN 7 games. That expands to 8.5 sacks in 12 games but I really think he was building steam and would probably have the same number of sacks as Parsons.

So far this season, the projected starters on the defensive line have played in 25% of the games. Going forward, that number will certainly increase well past 75%, in fact, 100% barring further injury.

Offenses will not be able to commit the resources to stopping all three of these players. Excitement is going to shift from the offense to the defense just around the time when the Cowboys will need them the most.

The bright side is that we didn't notice our missing DEs much because Parsons filled in so well, and even Armstrong hasn't been bad.

I actually think our top 3 corners are very good at defending this in man coverage.

Gallimore and Gregory may be limited like Tank was first game back.

But I'm excited that Cowboys are getting healthy, at least on defense.

I’m sorry dude. Respect your optimistic outlook but this team isn’t getting that far. I know you said team can win a SB it’s just that this offense is lousy right now and it’s not going to switch back to pre Denver play. The offense peaked and many teams go through it every season.

In a sense its two different seasons.
