Something that hasn’t really been discussed with so many people calling out Moores insufficiencies what happens if he doesn’t get hired anywhere else as a head coach does Jerry keep him? He is a prodigy of Jason Garrett who refused to change his scheme and constantly blamed it on execution is Kellen Moore stays does he keep that approach what does him and Mike McCarthy makes major adjustments on the offense?
Will Jerry have the balls to fire him?

Based on his recent comments I'd say he keeps him.

He said "he has who he wants under contract."

That's an exact quote....

But won't comment due to other teams wanting to speak with them about promotions.

He is clearly upset with MM and disappointed with Moore but I think both will return.

Jerry probably thinks the 'or else' thing will be more effective than game planning and scheming.

Yeah JJ sounds like he is pissed at Kellen and Quinn for going on coaching interviews when they should have been getting ready for the playoffs. Like Cowboys fan, Jerry is questioning the offensive and defensive game plans for the 49ers game. I don’t understand why the league won’t hold off interviews until after the Super Bowl. It needs to be a rule.

It was a rule until some complained that the candidates on the teams that played late into the postseason were getting passed over because teams didn't want to wait to hire a staff.

Moving the season back only made that worse, so they changed it.

It kinda makes sense in one regard, but it is indeed a problem for the teams that end up losing early.

Simple solution to this would be for the NFL to force teams to wait until after the Super Bowl to interview any assistants from any team, regardless of if they're in playoffs or not.

I understand it from the coaching perspective to get the interviews in because they don’t want to fall behind college coaches and coaches that don’t have jobs. I just know that it is a distraction for a coach that on one hand is trying to get his players ready for the playoffs then you have to get ready for an interview of a lifetime later that week. Remember football is a sport that you have to be all in.

Moore is here to stay. To the detriment of this team. What else is new?

The hot dog stand guy was so fed up with this team that he quit. Moore should take over his position.

......and that is the continued issue with the offense. How can the HC, OC, QB Coach, OL Coach and RB Coach look at the film and not be accountable too?
What are coaches viewing, what are they teaching, regarding technique and mechanics? What is the plan?
Has JJ intervened with an order to play a RB who was injured with an OL knee brace on his leg?
Why is it rare that we see QB and OC sitting together viewing the tablet, on the sideline?
Why can't TPollard be used in the game plan effectively, one way or the other?
What is with the rotating RBs, at the most inopportune time?
Since Schultz and Jarwin aren't good blocking TEs, why can't Sprinkles be inserted in packages to aid the run game, certainly in the Red Zone?
What is the offensive philosophy? Finesse, power, or both?

Watch this team come back with the same unanswered questions, next year.......and many of us with the usual high hopes. And the moment we start to notice the questions are unanswered again, we'll get distracted about a player's salary......the "go to" move.

Moore will stay, if he doesn't get a job.

I don't love what happened this year, and think he bears a ton of responsibility for the team getting figured out. But you can't deny that he has potential as a playcaller. He's had some really good success with only a couple years on the job. If he can figure out the run game, he'll be excellent.

I don't think he's the kind of coach you give up on.

I have to ask.......how long do with discuss potential?

Dak/Moore together? Doesn't work for post-season success. Moore has to go. Will Jerry let him go? Probably not.

Brian Billick said he once told a player that was under performing, “son your potential is going to get me fired”. And that’s part of the problem here. We hang on to players too long and over value their worth when contract time comes.

Will Moore even get one job offer? If he doesn't then that means he spilt his time and attention on head coaching interviews for no reason, when his full attention and time could have been preparing for the playoffs.

I think he's quietly released from his contract to pursue other OC opportunities. If he doesn't get an offer, I think he stays but make no mistake, his impact/role on the offense will be reduced.

After JJ comments, I can't see him signing off on the same status quo offense.

Why do I have flashbacks to the 2013 season and Garrett stripped of his playcalling duties?

I can almost see a perversely inverted parallel with Moore being retained as OC, but not calling the plays
