It's the same people that say and like these horrible takes over and over.

I've got to control myself and stop arguing them. Because they will pull you down to their level of thinking and I don't like that.

It’s completely asinine their reasoning. So Dak was the reason they were good, but not Moore’s play calling that defenses had not yet caught on to?

I don't disagree....so the same way, taking 7 bad games and saying he is bad is also weak.

and although he never had played at the level he played in the first 7 games, one could intrepret that as a QB growing given it doesn't happen the same way for all the different QBs....in 2020 and 2019 he did play well and since 2017 he had been getting better
You could interpret it that way if he didn't follow up those 7 games with the worst stretch we've ever seen from him.

What he really is is something between those first 7 games and those last 9 games.

It's crazy logic.

I say all the time that some of these posts should be studied in psychology classes.

Burrow is in his 2nd year. For all we know he could be another Dak. You’re speaking from emotion, not objectively.
He can't be another Dak. Burrow got his team to the AFC Championship in Year 2. And that with a WEAK offensive line that got him killed last year.

Murray is in his third year and was in his first playoff game against a team that will likely make the SB and has a phenomenal defense. I'd say he has a lot of room to develop and get rid of those playoff jitters.

I guess. Because I like that QB. But he has to do better under pressure than that. I'm specifically talking about one play. I know he was nervous, but you can't pull a Carson Wentz out of your own end zone. I'm guessing he still gets his extension before next season.

This weekend just shows you how far Dak is behind these guy, it's miles

Agreed. We get lost in the weeds of arguing whom Dak is better and worse than, but the truth is that there is a small grouping of elite quarterbacks that Dak simply is not part of.

I would still argue he's a top-10 guy, one who would fall in most people's 7-12 range. But he's not among the upper-most pantheon of guys at the position.

He did it with a younger new coach. Dak has had the same weight on his neck since he's been here. Mainly Jason Garrett and Kellen Moore. Put Garrett and Moore in Cincy and Burrow would be Dak.

Dallas had 4 years to win with Dak. Cheap contract and an immediate window for finding a qb in round 4. That window closed and he should have been shopped. He should have got the transition tag slapped on him and see what others thought of him. That was THE move. But Dallas screwed it all up and gave him a ridiculous contract and on top of it gave him a no trade clause. Dumb in every sense of the word. Now you are stuck with this guy. I would have offered Dak a contract. And the team did. Multiple fair ones. But what he asked for and received was ludicrous. I would not have signed him to this current deal. He would have been dealt. Rams, Bucs, and Philly knew when they didn't have the guy recently and made a move. I think the Baker Mayfield situation is interesting for comparison. And Lamar. I can honestly see both being shopped.

Defense is playing much better than ours. Not like our OL is elite or anything, either.

I think some guys on here are very smart dudes who do understand football and recognize our other weaknesses, but they go out of their way to point out how Dak needs to be canned or how we would win if we had a different QB.

Even if we had Mahomes, the lack of discipline on this team would have us bounced in the NFCCG.
Wrong again. There are a number of QBs in the league who would give us a lot better chance of winning than Dak. Your Dak love blinds you. You are speaking with your emotional love for Dak.

Wrong again. I have already acknowledged other QBs would give us a better chance of winning but you’re speaking out of your emotional hatred of Dak and IGNORING WHAT I SAY.

We don't know that, and there's no way to prove that.
We have to work with what we do know.

No, our defense was playing fine. Secondly, Burrow got sacked 9 times and still delivered. How many times did Dak get sacked? The excuses are getting to be ridiculous now. He was missing wide open guys because he wouldn't throw to the receivers in time. Thus, he (Dak) took sacks. But they still weren't as many as Burrow's final sack tally.
