Considering his connections in Denver, you’d think he was favored over Hackett. But Denver is a rebuild job if there ever was one….and in the most competitive division in the NFL. May not have appealed to him.

Quinn must be waiting for the Seattle job. Carroll probably has one more year there

Who'd want to be HC as a part of dysfunctional teams ala Houston Texans ?.. Vikes ? .. Jax?

and many are taking for granted that Rodgers is a given shoe in for Denver - but that QB is not there.

maybe too choosy, but maybe Quinn is waiting for the very right situation as HC,... - could it even be eventual future Cowboys HC ?

That's completely logical to me, I don't understand why people wouldn't believe it. These interviews go both ways, he's checking out what kind of path forward these teams have regarding personnel/ coaches/ front office involvement, contract details. Just because he interviews with them doesn't mean he'll accept whatever they throw out there. I'll bet Jerry promised to continue focusing on the defense with the draft/FA too so this defense could become what we've all been waiting for (for 25 years).

Money talks bs walks. In addition, I believe Dan Quinn & Jerry probably talked about him taking over the HC job if MM doesn’t get the job done this year.

Don’t worry the morons here won’t believe it or won’t actually get that if it is true that means he valued being here than being a head coach in at least 1 place or the other 2 he pulled his name out of the hat for (Minnesota New York Miami )

Oh no don't try it,you don't know who he turned down, You don't know if he turned down Denver, As Jerry said they had to convince him. So that says he was interested in a job and turned it down. They extended him, which means the gave him more money.

Funny how not one outlet reported this alleged offer and yet news about offers to other candidates were reported by multiple sources.

Perhaps the "morons" are those who just take Jerry's word that a guy would turn down a head coaching job to remain one of his assistants?

Money yalks he was also extended

Cowboys lead the headlines heading into Conference Championship weekend & they aren’t even playing.

And that's why they will Always be America's Team!
:lmao:

Which is one reason Jerry wanted to keep everyone wondering about McCarthy’s future. Anything to keep everyone talking about the Cowboys.

The bears are the only real option here. The giants were in play but I don’t think they got that far in the process. That’s assuming what he’s saying is true, which it probably isn’t.
