:laugh:As I said in my OP. We are screwed until Jerry leaves-dies or sale......Then what we have left called Stephen. Could maybe be even worse:facepalm:

Sadly, Jimmy is probably going to be the new Lee Roy Jordan. Going to take new management before he gets inducted in the ROH. Even Jerry putting his ring on was awkward.

Jimmy has been telling all of the delusuional Jerry fans the truth for years.

Jerry told you himself when he got drunk one night and admitted that he only brought in Parcells to get the stadium approved.

But Jerry cried that he "would sacrifice anything in the world to get back to another Super Bowl."

Keep falling for it.

Why are people saying Jimmy won't get into the ROH?

Didn't he get in this year? September 27th?

My opinion is that not admitting to mistakes has nothing to do with this quarter of a century championship and Super Bowl underachievement. It's not all Jerry either, it's also Stephen. They are not going to fire themselves, they are too subjective in their thinking because nepotistic minds think alike. Also they have other significant business distractions. They have evolved to some degree in their roles but comparatively continue to be outpaced by executive management of other teams.
You Nailed it . Plus their personal interactions with players and stars directly , makes some players feel complacent if they feel Jerry or Stephen likes them . So they don’t fear getting cut . If the coach is undermined by the owner , the coach loses the any ability to enforce and motivate or punish bad habits or plays . Many examples of this in the cowboys history under Jerry .

dang, I'm starting to dislike jimmy. first, he said dak isn't carrying a team anywhere, and he has to have elite players all around him to succeed now he's hating on the Skeletor.

If you want to listen, 7:55 mark of the video.

"Jimmy Johnson on @TheHerd: "Jerry doesn't ever want to admit he's wrong, so he's gonna hang with whoever...and try to make it work. "

One of the reasons we oversign some of our guys. Jerry made the decisions on the draft, so he has a vested interest in the success of the players he drafts. Also, on a more positive note, he gets emotionally invested in players, so he wants them to succeed. He's an emotional guy. Good for sales. Good for mentoring and support. Bad for objectively and ruthlessly evaluating talent.

Some of you are commenting about Jimmy losing his chance at the ROH. Jimmy probably would much rather zing ole' Jerry with a truism every so often than be enshrined in the ROH. Jimmy is that kind of guy....my kind of guy!

ring of honor has not happened or a date been set. Jerry wont do it anytime soon if ever.
