I have a couple of quick questions. 1) How many owners and their fan bases are saying, "Damn, if only we could get Steve and Jerry to manager our roster and pick our coaches???"
2) Suppose that Steve and Jerry were to apply for the job of an executive manager with a sports franchise in which they picked coaches and rosters. Would they get hired? You know, based on their resume and body of work with the Cowboys the past 25+/- years.

I think we all know the answers to those two questions. No and No.

Here's another one for everyone.

Do you believe Jerry Jones is the best businessman in all of the NFL?

I would say his greatest achievement was holding Jerry against the wall to stop him drafting Manziel

I hated Johnny Football, but when it’s all said and done, it didn’t make a difference. We were losers without him also!

Understood but as it stands now Daddy can still run damage control publicly because the buck still stops with him . But once he’s gone then just can’t see the siblings leaving brother out on an island like Daddy is.

It will be completely different situation. And possibly one that’s better run with a more normal front office scenario with VP of personnel and GM’s they can fire. Who aren’t undermining the coaching staffs.

I truly believe real hope and a better sense of normality begins when Daddy is gone.
Again, I hope you are right. The kids may be disciples of dad though and still use it as their own play toy. Time will tell.

Best Businessman??? Of course NOT. The primary business of any NFL franchise is putting a winner on the field. That is what they are and what they do. Saying Jerry is a good NFL businessman is like saying a restaurant owner had a nice place, friendly staff and a lot of charm but served bad food. The final product is what counts.

So far, his biggest accomplishment seems to be helping Daddy cover up this peeping tom fiasco by Dalrymple. Destroying all the evidence and shutting the pie holes of any witness to this crime. Good job Stevie boy.

He's mastered a particularly annoying nose whistle. Beyond that fine achievement....add me to the list of people at a loss.

His biggest accomplishment was being born Jerry's son. Else, he'd be running a used car dealership somewhere only watching the NFL on Sundays.
