Agree with this completely and I can’t stand this guy.

He also has videos saying Dak would lead Dallas to a Superbowl victory and Dak is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.....

Did you agree with him then, or did you just selectively agree with him on this one video opposed to the other videos of him praising Dak?

AINT UR MUNNY!!!!

HE'S AGREED TO A RESTRUCTURE. !

IF you'd paid attention, this was coming from a mile away.
Yeah, but it effects my team.No kidding, restructure was common knowledge. It’s better for the player w/ money quicker as it’s like a signing bonus.I really don’t understand your post.Makes no sense.Read what you post before you send.

No I rarely agree with Cowherd. As I’ve stated here 50 times, by the way, I’ve championed Dak for years. Didn’t like the contract but loved his leadership, ability to get tough first downs, ability to scramble and rally the troops. Said it for years. But I also acknowledge he has short comings and he has a rough second half of this season. His reaction to it, comments on the refs etc just made me question him and left a bad taste. He answers questions like Garrett and seemed to get too into himself. Was disappointed. I don’t think it’s offensive to call Dak overpaid for what we got this year and in the playoffs. Heck half our team is overpaid

sorry i do not want to hear a single person from the media say dak is over paid

after the pity party every single one of them throw for dak after he got hurt and tag again yelling about how he is a franchise qb and he deserve franchise qb money and cowboys are evil for tag him after he got hurt

give me a break

cowboys fans is the only one who can say he is over paid imo because every one else would not shut up about how dak desrrve to get paid

Before we hear the tired "That's what a franchise QB gets paid. That's how the market works" blah blah blah from the usual's....

We all get it. We know how the market works. Dak is not a franchise level QB skill wise is the problem we have with the contract.

We don't care how much Dak was paid. We care that his play on the field does not reflect it.

I think Jerry is worried more about being relevant. Think about it from a business standpoint. Maintain popularity by being a consistent average to good team every year, or win 2-5 games for the next several years until you find a QB? The money points to the first option.

Look at what this restructure did to Dak's cap hit next year. He's just shy of 50M against the cap for 2023. That means another restructure. Then another contract extension the following year. They almost have no choice. Too much money in the contract being pushed forward. Too much money in the contract to have acceptable cap hits as is and build a team that can compete.

Can I ask a question? Cowherd just brought it up in the video. Why is Zeke the only player ever mentioned to get paid 2 years early? I only hear this in regard to Zeke, not anyone else. Yet a lot of players get an extension after their 3rd season, 5th year option or not. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Zeke got some kind of exclusive deal.

Stephen Jones said it in 2020 , when the Dak negotiations were ongoing , and the offer was 34 mil a year . He said on the radio to a question about why not paying Dak like mahomes, Rodgers , wilson , he said “ Dak lacks the one things those QBs have , a Super Bowl ring

Absolutely, you don't pay average players elite money... Dak is a very average player.

I agree. But the counter argument is always the same. Who do you have besides him? That's their argument to overpay. It's like if I wanted to sell you a Honda Civic for the same price as a Benz. Don't like it? Walk. And if your only other choice was to walk 100 miles, you might give me the 75k for the Civic.

Cowturd needs to make up his mind. One minute he likes Dak the next minute Dak is average. Dak earned his money by taking a segment on every talking heads show.
Most of talking heads are like that ..they are aware of the fact that most people have short memories
