For me next regular season will be all pre season games. Even a 17-0 season won't get my hopes up. The first playoff game is when it begins to get interesting for me again.

Almost everything is inferior to what it was 20 years ago. NO ONE respects the game anymore, except a few “outdated” coaches and players, and some of us old school fans.

That's because there wasn't any.

The cowboys have made the playoffs in back to back years one time in this century (07)

only one team has one the East in back to back years this century (eagles 02 03 04) and it hasn’t been done in 18 years

We have lost more talent than we have added and chances are we will add some talent in the draft but not net out in a better position at least in the short term

you guys can criticize him all you want for a knee jerk reaction but the odds are not in our favor on this one

Isn't this a QB League? If Dak plays as he did in the second half of the season, we may well have a losing season.....cant afford the $89m to release him next year.

Yes, but if we draft in the top 5 next season we could get our next QB and release Dak to high bidders the following year. Our OL regressed last season and is the main reason we tanked the last seven games. Dak is not now nor will ever be Brady. He needs loads of support to be successful.

Definitely build that O-Line, create a running game, give Dak protection and stop teams staying back in coverage.
