I think there's some significant plan for CB Nahshon Wright's future

Does anyone have any feedback on how he looked his rookie season?
I am not sure he even was active for any games or if he was a special teamer ?

I think switching him from CB to S, then back to CB, plus any ST's, learning too much. So it is really hard to say. He had a few decent plays, as well some missed plays.
The team screws a lot of players up with this position flex crap.
Only one that they did not screw up is Micah. But that is because he is that good, the coaches can't screw it up.

Will be interesting to see Wright's progress, if they leave him at CB and ST's.

So what do you expect, them to bring in a player every day? There will be anger even if they did sign a player. Not the right player, paid too much, not the right position.
Could have had this player instead. You know the routine, most are never satisfied. Hate it they did not sign a certain player, hate it if they did sign him.
You know its bad when the biggest homers have turned on the team lol

Do NOT post about Joseph in this thread!

There is already a thread for that topic.

If you do not want to discuss Nahshon Wright, find another thread to post in.

Bobby Wagner wasn’t even brought in. The cowboys are paying Jaylon smith the same amount the rams are paying Wagner. And smith doesn’t even play for this team. That’s what angers me personally.

Part of doing business. All teams have done stuff like that.
Ask the Rams fans how they felt about them giving Gurley a huge contract, then releasing him.
Jerry would be fried, though the Zeke haters would love it. Part of their hypocrisy.

And Dallas did talk to Wagner supposedly. He wanted way too much $$$. I don't blame and am glad they did not sign him for that much.

I get your point, but Gurley is a horrible example. Rams fans are pretty happy right now savoring the Superbowl afterglow. Their team identified several mistakes (paying their QB and RB big money) and corrected them....AND then still made massive trades and free agency moves to better their team.

Cowboys had an area of need at LB and didn't pull the trigger. This is how they operate in Free Agency, for better or worse.

So, where are all the posters that was freaking out over him visiting the Rams, and blasting Jerry.
Why aren't they blasting the Rams for allowing him to leave without a contract.
Where is the double standard outrage.
:lmao2:

Probably because the Rams have already dominated free agency. I find it difficult to criticize the superbowl champs too much right now.

They didn't have enough money to offer because they have been busy doing their job and signing other big names.

Since you need at minimum 4 CB's Wright was drafted to be a 3rd or 4th CB anyway. He has a ways to develop but it's possible he takes over for Brown in a year or 2.

That's what we draft an Anthony brown in 5th round for ..
Hopeful developmental nickel back corners

I think he could end up being a good player who does some things well. However, I worry about his change of direction skills. A quick receiver will likely eat him alive and I’m concerned about opposing offensive coordinators targeting him with

If he is able to use his length on deep routes and crossers, he could be a weapon in those circumstances.

weren't bobby Taylor and richard sherman big corners too?

And seattle had that brandon browner CB who was 6'4
I think he started and won SBs with both Seattle and ne Pats.

Incompetent Front Office angers a lot of us, and rightfully so...

The Rams have turned over every rock, and pursued every avenue possible (no matter how improbable) to improve their team. and this is AFTER winning a sb
The Cowboys have won nothing, and have made moves that have significantly weakened the roster and have the 2nd most cap space in the league

It's not fair to have given up on Wright, but he is a bit of a project and was considered a reach in the 3rd...by pretty much everyone.

Nothing happened last season to have changed that.

As much as I like Quinn, you can't be letting assistants make the calls on draft picks. This had reminders of Marinelli written over it.

As a draft only to get better team, can you really afford to be burning 3rds on players like this?
How do you know he won’t turn out to be a really good player? You don’t. Just like the rest of us.
