I suggest you take a look at the Giants CAP situation. They really have no one else to cut, even after June 1. Anyone looking at this charge would be 95% certain Bradberry would be cut eventually. The problem is the last year of his contract could be voided and he would be a free agent in 2023 when he will be asking for a lot of money.

Trading for him assures you’ll get him. If he’s that good someone will pony up a draft pick for him. If he’s released he’s up for grabs.

What...release one of our own? He hasn't been here 10 years yet.....why would we EVER want to churn the roster when we are so busy stackin' Lombardi's???
Lol! You guys are funny

Bradberry is worth the $10M the Giants owed him and probably even more. He'll find a home quickly. I wouldn't mind at all if it was here.

It's wild how broke the Giants are, unable to pay their own rookie class and they don't even have a franchise QB salary on the books. Gettleman destroyed that roster.

Several team, by account, wanted to trade for him, but were unable to renegotiate his contract. At that point they knew it would be better to let him get released. No one wanted to pay the 13.5 million he would be owed this year in a trade without a renegotiation.

"There were some teams that showed interest pre-draft, and we had a couple different times there were compensation in place and the contract never worked out. Being the fact that we did have good talks with the other teams and their agents had good talks with teams, sometimes if you're going to renegotiate a contract and couldn't come to an agreement, it is what it is."

"Listen, he's a starting corner in the league," Schoen told WFAN last week. "It's just where we are financially. We still got to sign our draft picks, be able to sign our practice squad and have replacement costs for during the season."

This sounds like Amari Cooper situation. Maybe I'm missing something but he's regarded as one of the better corners in the league. Seems like something should've been worked out but I Guess not...shocked they couldn't get someone to take on his deal.

Deion and Charles Haley beg to differ

I’m referring to recent years. The salary cap hadn’t arrived when we added Charles Haley. Deion was a great addition but it resulted in cap hell later in the 90s.

Put some respect on AB he played good last season. Don't forget this is the Cowboys before you talk about sign FAs with $10+M price tags, besides they saving for Trevon Diggs.

Thanks to our shrewd cap management.

Creating all this cap space and having a corner come free right now just shows what geniuses they are.

They are still stashing their cap space, so players will not be added. If you could be prevy to the master Jones cap plan you would be mind blown.

Brown appears to have played very well last year outside of one game where his only interference penalties occurred. No way I’m dropping a guy who can start and play at a high level outside or in the slot.

Seriously. Bradberry had a nice year, the year before last, but Brown outperformed him last year and so many of you are ignoring that.
Funny thing is, I think if you released Anthony Brown right now I think teams would rather sign him for 4 million a year than they would Bradberry at whatever outrageous number he's asking for.

Cowboys have 15 million in space and still need to sign draft picks, the 10 million from Collins don't hit til June.

I wouldn't mind neither but I have 0.00001% chance of signing him. Stephen likes our guys. A contending team that's close will go after him, like the bills, chargers, rams, GB or perhaps eagles who have been shrewed lately.
