If Semi ever becomes anything more than a ST player and fourth WR, he will become one of my answers to the other thread about who was a lot better than you thought

Fehoko has the ability and measurements. If he can make the next step, he could definitely be a viable candidate as an outside WR. No reason to write him off this early.

I must say though.. I’m more interested in TJ Vasher. At 6’6”, he will give CB’s a challenge with his vertical game alone. And we all know Dal has been missing the Redzone “Jump ball” since Dez departed. We didn’t see much of him last year due to him rehabbing a knee injury, yet I feel like he’s the darkhorse that has a legit shot to make the team. I suppose you can say.. he’s my pet cat out of all the young WRs we have on the team

I did too.

Then I saw him last preseason and he looked shockingly bad. Dude has a looooooong ways to go and he’s a body catcher.

I remember a time where WR’s took a couple of years to even get on the field. Hopefully that’s the case here and with the other guys. No one had ever heard of Davante Adams either.

But you’re right, he looked real stiff out there. But so did Schultz his rookie year and that’s turned out ok.

I think it was more of just how green he is at route running (thinking too much). He did well in the drills.

3c 7.38

Mike Evans

A physical specimen and a decent WR in college. Made some great plays. I hope he develops his route running and if so I wouldn't be surprised if he turns into a WR2, hopefully not with another team. *Hint hint

The NFL wasteland is littered with measureable and talented players out of college who just were in over their heads at the NFL level. We shall see how Semi fits, but the odds are against him. There are also other WR here on the roster trying to make it. The Cowboys have a lot of people to see this TC and PS at the WR spot. We shall see who attracts their attention and gets the PT. I have no pet cats here, may the best man win.

I respect that but I think Simi has a really good chance to make the team and possibly catch 20 passes and a couple TDs this season, even barring injury excepting Gallup.

I've also always wanted Noah Brown to do some things. Still just 26 years old. I love big receivers. I think everyone wants a "reincarnation" of Megatron though, so... Heh.

Simi was cut as soon as we drafted Tolbert.

I don't know why, but he is by far my least favorite Cowboy...

Several fit that profile on this roster.
Having said that, several job openings available for the right candidate.

Everything is accelerated, when these contracts are getting blown up it has accelerated the process, the learning curve is forgiven...lol
Rook contract value is about finding roles for these picks quickly, or time to move on.
This Defense need 2nd year contribution big time from Jabril Cox, Quinn is expecting it and depending on it.
Players like Muk and Wright need to show some game in a rather deep camp of back seven prospects with upside roaming around looking for jobs.
Our 1st UDFA signing, that kid wants to find a role and he is big enough and fast enough to find a gig.
Good comp in this camp and Quinn has some really nice pieces to work with.
This defense can get really good really fast.
