Julius Jones
Marion Barber
Tashard Choice
Felix Jones
DeMarco Murray
Joseph Randle
Darren McFadden
Ezekiel Elliott
Tony Pollard

These are the primary ones I can remember from memory so apologies if I forgot one you like

I’m going with Murray

I'd say Zeke for sure.

Murray had the most dominant single season (2014) though. Even better than Zeke's rookie season which is saying a lot.

I think there are forums out there and stuff.

May be something to consider, chappy.

Holler, me mate.

How long have you been a stalker.
Do you wander the hood at night?
do you have hobbies or parents to assist/guide you?

Again, do you wander the hood at night?
I can get you a counselor. She did good work for you before.

And how many did Demarco play in?

I’m genuinely not trying to rub it in, just arguing the point: for the time period listed, 4 is a lot
What's to 'rub in' or argue?
The playoff runs were few and brief for all Cowboys RBs (and the rest of the players) during that time span.
Murray was in just two postseason games for Dallas - 2014-15 WC and division round games.
Ironically, he had a showing similar to MB III....25 carries for 123 yds, 30yd long run, 1 TD, 1 catch for 5 yds --but Murray did lose that crucial fumble against GB.

Had to be between Murray and Zeke.

Zeke probably gets the nudge but Murray had the best season of them both.

Zeke and it’s not really close; could have been Murray had his whole stay was like 2014

Discounting Emmitt, you can't beat Murray's 2014 as the best year by any Cowboys back in the last 20 years. As far as is he the best RB Dallas has had, I think it's pretty close between him and Elliott with Elliott at least having one more year to make it not so close.

Taking Pollard out of it to be fair.

Ezekiel Elliott
Demarco Murray
Marion Barber III
Julius Jones
Darren McFadden
Felix Jones
Tashard Choice

I'd put Alfred Morris in there before I ever included Randle.

Zeke was forced to sit out the last game and a half in his 2016 season by a gutless head coach too scared of the upcoming playoffs. Give him those reps and I think he has the best single season any RB has ever had here statistically.

Zeke > Murray

Zeke > Murray

That's fair.

I just realized Elliott only crossed over 100 yards rushing twice last year
everyone is sour on zeke because he declined quick, folks thought he would have a bounce back year but it hurts even more because it was literally right when his second contract hit...early

Honestly its not close, Zeke was a fraud suspension away from 3 straight rushing titles to start his career.

I do think some might view him differently if that had happened. Then again, many on here are dug in deep in their opinions about certain players and wouldn't change if their lives were at stake.

He was having a bounce-back year, then he got hurt. Don't know what that means for this year. Maybe that was a sign that his body is to a point in his wear or tear that it will not allow him to overcome the decline, or maybe the injury won't mean anything and he can pick up where he left off the first third of last season. What we saw then was very promising that he could regain his form. It appeared that he worked as hard as ever (maybe even harder) to regain some of his movement skills after previously focusing on being a power back.

Outside of the Bucs' game (3 YPC), Elliott averaged 4.4 per carry against the Chargers, 5.6 against the Eagles, 7.1 against the Panthers (who, I believe, had the No. 1 run defense at the time) and 5.2 against the Giants. That's pretty amazing considering he says he was hurt in Week 4. At that point, he was averaging 5.18 YPC. Even if you throw in the next three games, his average was pretty good (4.7). He just really struggled from there with the partially torn PCL.

MB3, Demarco Murray and Zeke… no contest… those are my 3 horses if we’re going in their prime.

I guess Jerry decided that Zeke was the better overall since he kept him but didn’t fork out the money for Murray

The one I give it to is MB3. He never had that same offensive line that Murray and Zeke were gifted. If you can’t get 1000 yards behind Tyron, Zack, and Frederick in their injury free prime, you suck. LOL

That was RAW force from MB3 which as we see with his unfortunate early passing probably caused a lot of long-term damage. Parcells had the best compliment - about as perfect a football player as you can ask for, could do it all.
