How about in comp %, epa, average air yards per attempt? Yards and tds dont tell the story. You have to look at advanced metrics and analytics.

If we want to play stats since 2016

Cousins has played 10 or more games then prescott.

cousins:
passing yards, tds, td %, comp %, qbr, , y/a, ay/a, y/g .

Dak:
wins, win%, winning drives, less turnovers both int/fumbles

In playoffs....Cousins has the better comp% and qbr

So if you want to look at stats Cousins > Dak. And that's with cousins being on the pathetic Commanders for two years and Vikings OL being trash tier compared to the cowboys

And those are team stats anyways.

Yes and herbert made some dumb decisions too relying on that arm talent. I never said dak had a better arm but daks average air yards per attempt is half a yard better than herberts with and 3% higher comp %. Herbert is going to be better than dak in the future he just isnt at this moment
People always jump to “arm talent” when they have nothing else to lean on….

If this year was your only year to win as many games as possible. Dak would be chosen over a number of younger qbs. Just like dak wasnt a better qb in 2016 than Romo. But dak played because they were investing in the future after romo missed half a season.
I would trade Dak, Zeke, Dlaw and Next years 1st and 2nd right now for Herbert, Josh Allen or Joe B. Not joking.

I'm not talking about career or since 2016 and Dak was a rookie and cousins already a vet. I'm talking last year and who is better right now

Said nobody ever. There isn't one person on this planet that would rather have Dak over Joe B or Herbert as their QB. You can't be serious.
I want herbert too because of his future projections and being on a cheap rookie deal. But right now dak is the better qb. That's because dak has 4 more years in the league.

Not Allen? 3 straight years in the playoffs. 1 AFC title game. Lost 2 chiefs at KC 2 years in a row. Without the Cheetah, Buff has a chance to get past the Chiefs.
Nah not Josh Allen. I like herbert and Burrow better

Its really only dak plus a 1 and 2.
if thats all it was. But if you are talking zeke and Dlaw who I think are both over paid to go with it then i think its too much. Nevertheless no one is that dumb to do that .

Me too but then i would also not be suprised when after we do I am still asking myself how i dont take the last 26 years seriously enough to understand what the problem is.
