I think most important is to know if they do add a tackle (regardless of what Jerry has said). That could very well be a 2 game swing

well I was thinking 11-6 or 12-5, but then jerry and his boy open their mouths , and mainly jerry lately,
so now with tyron out for season, I am thinking 8-9 or 9-8

I think people find out lamb isnt a good # 1 wr, dak will be under more pressure more often, and we have the same hc and oc.

Really though a lot depends on the other east teams, can any of the 3 beat dallas? or will dallas get 6 easy wins from them.
last year dallas got the 6 easy wins which led to 12 wins.
But if dallas only gets 4 wins, that makes it harder to wind up 11-5 or better. heck it is 6 outside div wins to reach just 10 wins.

and dont know if turpin can get some return tds or not. Dallas has a harder schedule now just by losing tyron for season.

Average team at best,... Not optimistic about this years team, I like the defense progression, think it will be the strength of the team, offensive line looks like a disaster IMO. I still don't like the play calling or receiver route trees, the running game is going to be suspect with this line and of course I expect this team to be near the top of the league in penalties once again this year... Dak doesn't have any more excuses, it's all on his shoulders now, he has to carry this team on offense, if this team falls flat on it's face, he's to blame!

You listed a dozen things wrong with the team that have NOTHING to do with the QB...

And then conclude that Dak has no excuses, and if the team fails it’s all on him?

Plenty of very good quarterbacks in this league that win in spite of their teams deficiencies, when is Dak going to do that???? Dak plays in a garbage division and what is his Record against teams with winning records again?? What part of Dak has to carry this team that escapes you?

We went 12-5 last year despite leading the league in penalties. Dak put up excellent numbers and is regarded by anyone whose opinion matters (NFL players, coaches, execs and scouts) as a top 10 QB.

BUT 12-5 and a playoff loss isn’t good enough, right? Agreed!

Now tell me again about all those great QBs who win Super Bowls despite a crappy OL, crappy playcalling, crappy WR routes, a crappy run game and a TON of penalties... the flaws YOU mentioned.

Keep struggling with logic. This is fun.

Whoa...what is the veiled optimism I see on here about a winning record. This thread before Tyron went down?
Because according to many here we have absolutely no LT now unless we sign some fat over the hill vet looking for a paycheck that nobody has wanted up to this point and will end up injured or trade valuable picks for somebody with a phat contract that we don’t need oh and and don’t forget Dak is also in terrible danger.
How can there possibly be optimism for a winning season?

I think we will struggle with extremely thin OL and WR depth. Any further injury at either position could be brutal. Hell even TE. Our D is fun but we gotta really clamp down on yards allowed (esp run game) if they are meant to carry the team.

We have division foes that beefed up their DLs so we can't even garuntee 5 or 6 wins in the NFCE this year.

I hate to say it but 6-11 and I think MM is the scapegoat. He ain't a great headcoach but this situation ain't a favorable one for any coach. The front office is sorely inept and Mike will lose his job because of it.

6-11 unless they bring in a left tackle.
