I hope not. Bizarrely, the Broncos were very much my 2nd favourite team during the Elway years. I have never before or since had an even remotely 2nd favourite.

To be honest, with the exception of a few immature yahoos (lol), you can sense the maturity of most posters, even many of Dak's strongest critics. The fact most posters are older doesn't surprise me. It's a good message board, in fact, I can't imagine any of the other 31 teams having a better one.

I was a young lad living in DC and had my bedroom plastered with posters of my favorite Commander players. Then I fell in love with how cool the Cowboys helmets were and how the o-linemen stood up and down in unision when at the line of scrimmage…oh yeah…and of course their cheerleaders!

1970, I could see the blimp from my house in Dallas at age 5, over the cotton bowl.

I now reside deep in Commanders territory. My in-market late game this Sunday is Jacksonville@Washington, if that paints a picture.

When they won the super bowl, that sealed it. From that point I was after Ring2. And so on.

I lived in London in the early- to mid-80's and attended the first preseason game at Wembly.

A very, very distant relative was officiating and I got the chance to run the sideline down marker. Quite the experience.

It's not just the Cowboys. Up here in New England, most of the people have already stopped wearing and showing their Patriots pride. Everything was the Flying Elvis while TB was in town, then as soon as he left, it was almost like he'd never been here.

I live in Warwick, Rhode Island. 25 minutes from Gillette stadium. Cowboy fan forever

I didn't realize how passionate i was about this team until I cried after the loss to SF in the 81 nfc championship. Ironically I grew up in Tampa, FL. My dream was to one day live Dallas. The closest I got was being stationed at Ft Hood, TX in the 90's. I miss those super bowl runs.

I loved the TV show Dallas too. I loved everything Dallas back then.
