One good thing is that roster building is strengthened quite a bit by lower rated players having carpet time and actually growing quite a bit. Depth really matters the farther along a season progresses and evaluating team strength that shows up in the playoffs. This even applies against Washington, New York, and Philadelphia.

Yup, this was all P.T. Cowboys again just using anything to stay in the media. I’m sure if we lose tonight they’ll soon be telling us Dak is only a week away…Pay no attention to the wins and losses, look over here…

The problem is you put any validity into what was coming out of The Star. As a fanbase, we should collectively understand that whatever Jerry and others claim is likely to not be accurate, especially when it comes to returns from serious injuries.

Couple questions here,,,, Do we no why they released Houston....are they bringing up Peters? Then who and the heck are the starting WR's now.

LOL. If he played tonight it would be have been one of the fastest returns from an ACL injury we've seen. He's still less than 8 months from ACL surgery. The issue isn't Gallup. The issue is that Jerry and company sold you and other fans this myth that he was going to be back sooner than imagined and you guys all ignored medical history on these kinds of injuries. Gallup was never going to play in September if one was just honest with themselves.

They were just making excuses/covering up for the criticism they were getting over how they handled WR in the offseason. But, but guys, we didn't need to bring in these other WRs because Gallup is gonna be ready by Game 2!!!!!

And fans fell for it.

Jerry doesn't want to give Cooper Rush another weapon and therefore open the door to making Dak look bad....and subsequently makes Jerry look bad.

What ever the element being the source...this team has to not stop it's strengthening growth. I'm not asking for either a trophy or ribbons.

What a surprise…Gallup not starting. The FO does this all the time; consistently underestimate how long our injured players are going to be inactive.

It’s like Dr. Seuss is the team physician and Jerry is the medical director!

At this rate…Dak will be out until late October.

So are we supposed to announce to our opponents that Gallup won't be playing early in the week? Or is that only for when you want to complain about that another week?

Ask Miami what they think of Ced and their nearly 10m per investment at this point.
Cedrick has 2 receptions for 20 yards so far this season for Miami, and that was all from week 1.
