That video should have a warning label on it Warning do not try this at home Because it could hurt lots
I am old enough to remember playing football in the backyard with those cheap plastic football helmets. Being tackled and slammed to the ground then getting up and seeing stars for the next 10 minutes.

or the front yard, the driveways to the left and right of us were endzones. Mailboxes were the OOB pylons, took quite a few of those out!

There's no mention of "vacinity" in the actual rule, so I'm not sure what you're quoting.

Intentional grounding will not be called when a passer, who is outside, or has been outside, the tackle position, throws a forward pass that lands at or beyond the line of scrimmage, even if no offensive player(s) have a realistic chance to catch the ball

To the vacinity, not past. Common misconception.

The misconception is the word "vacinity".
