This seems workable ........only problem, is I heard he can be a head case at times. Don't think he and big Ben got alone well.........lol

Steelers WR Chase Claypool
The Steelers receiver has been the subject of trade talks for weeks, but barring a dramatic change, it doesn't appear he's going anywhere, sources say. To deal a young weapon who could help rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, it would have to be perfect. No team is close to that yet. Claypool is under contract for another year, due just about $1.5 million in 2023. And even at 2-5, Pittsburgh has shown no signs it intends to be a seller at the deadline.

He has talent, no question ......
4.42

Claypool ran a 4.42 official 40-yard dash joining former Georgia Tech and Detroit Lion wide receiver Calvin Johnson in the history books. The Notre Dame star became the second receiver 6-foot-4 or over and 235 pounds or bigger to run a sub-4.45 in the 40-yard dash.Feb 27, 2020
That contract is gold, even if he is a head case worth that salary.

This wide receiver news isn't news. They have been looking at making the team better at receiver for months.

You do realize how bad it is to let go of a top 15 WR for a 5th round pick to then later bring in another WR for a higher pick right?

Washington on the mend Gallup looked stronger last week Tolbert a 3rd rounder with a bye week to hopefully take reps get more comfortable . Why exactly trade a premium draft pick when Cooper and Wilson were given the boot in the off-season . What kind of FO is running the Art gallery . Work with these receivers MM KM Dak hello .

They could trade Basham for a draft pick and then flip the pick to the Jets for Mims.

If they are going WR id rather Moore. Mims is just not that good. Elijah at least looked to be a beast in the making last season. And thats with Zach Wilson throwing to him.

They did not like or want Cooper, period. They wanted him off the team. And if he was worth his contract teams would have been falling all over themselves to offer more than a 5th. But he wasn’t.

Roquan went for cheap too (nm I didn't realize it included a 2nd in 2023)

Like the NFL increasing the trading mid-season and hope the trend continues next year.
It's not that bad for how good he is. If he leaves in the off-season they'll most likely get a 3rd comp back.

If anything the 1950’s Bears burned a hole in the Art Gallery carpet they ran for over 200 yards . I would venture to say that’s more concerning then getting Dak a new toy at WR . Isn’t Noah Brown coming back ?

That was a salary dump. You do understand that don't you? They also were pissed at Cooper and got a chuckle out of sending him to Siberia. How does a 6 and 2 record and being 4th in the power rankings look? What if they bring in Mims with a late round pick?

I'll take Claypool.

Moore's cap hit in 2023 can be altered, but got to start the restructuring dance again.

How in the world would you know how good Mims is?

You’d think after 27 years of losing in the playoffs that you’d address the one thing that always kills us in the playoffs, aka, stopping the run. But no. Let’s continue to add to the offense again year after year.

Get a DT or LB. Then worry about receiver.

How do you know if they will not? They could easily add Suh later?
