2nd trailer was released. What are your thoughts and expectations for the movie? Looks like it is a serious tone unlike other Godzilla films, can';t wait.

The very first Godzilla film had a serious tone. These trailers look promising. It may not end up being a good movie, but I bet it is way better than the Matthew Broderick version. That was terrible. I'm not against campy Godzilla movies. I'm rather a fan of those and they are different. The Broderick version didn't stand up to those versions, either. I will definitely go see this one.

Great trailers!

A "Bad-arse" Godzilla, which only appeared in a handful of the movies within the franchise.

The movie looks promising. I would certainly love a good Godzilla movie. Grew up loving those movies.

I definitely want to see it. Godzilla will have to do until they come up with another "Cloverfield". I was really hoping for a follow-up to "Cloverfield". Oh well.

I love how the spikes on his back look like the original and the classic sounding screech. This will be cool. Perfect movie to take my Dad to.

It's also awesome how that first trailer sounds like 2001:A Space Oddyssey with the music.

I'm a huge godzilla fan I'm just holding my breath and crossing my fingers they didnt mess this up. Monsters was a decent movie so I'm cautiously optimistic

Heck yeah. They kinda left the ending wide open for a sequel. NYC is always getting jacked up. Lol

What is the origin? Nuclear blast oversizes a lizard to supersize growth? Or?
