How did you react when they overturned the Dez catch?

Seriously dude?! What kind of Cowboys fan says that?

So you mean to tell me you weren't happy over the PI call getting overturned? You say no, you are lying.

My point is, we got happy and get away with highway robbery on that call vs the Lions. It's the truth, and I still felt happy about the win, because honestly? Screw how we win, I just want the W, even if it means cheating.

With that said, when it gets done right back to you, sure you can be like "damn", but no need to get all bent out of shape about it. That call was far from the reason we lost anyways.

Well, welcome to our home, Miguelitomama. I hope you like it here. This is a home, a family. Welcome to la familia de CowboysZone!:)

Oh, Miguelito, my heart broke for Dez. They showed him sitting on the bench, head covered in a towel and lowered. And then when it was all over, he walked to the locker room with the towel still over his head. I have never that baby so crushed. Heartbreaking. :(

Thank you! He definitely was devastated. And it was natural that he reached for the end zone rather than simply tucking the ball away. His athleticism and his determination to win wouldn't have had him do otherwise.

The WR grabbed the facemask... it was offsetting at best...

Oh man, I love this gif! You are so right, Miguelitomamma. He is a baller. He does what comes naturally, which is reach out for the score. It was most definitely a football move, to be expected by a player like him.

Yeah I saw that. Regardless, turn your head around.

Had it been us, the forum would explode.

Fans are getting upset about a call, that is the right call. So imagine a game changing PI, getting picked up.

Was I upset they overturned it? Hell yeah, but at the end of the day, it's fair game. Don't get put in superman desperation needs, and this won't happen.

Offsetting still gives the Lions the down over. But that facemask is irrelevant. It wasn't called. The issue is why was the flag picked up. They didn't pick the flag up because of any facemask. Only the PI, what was called, is relevant.

Did he interfere? Clearly to me. The fact that there was even any debate on it shows we have irrational fans here.

And Hitchens committed two penalties on the play. So count the defensive holding while we count the facemask. Even thought the NFL didn't see a facemask and did confirm the clear holding on the play.

Then we have Dez with no helmet after the play.

We were blessed last week. This week we got screwed.

I couldn't believe it . If anything I thought it could have been a td if he was never touched . Watch the dez td from Cowboys vs Eagles last year (17-3) game . How is that a td ? And this one not a catch? Horrible call . Insult to injury was Cobbs catch that clearly hit the floor .

Threw my hat across the room. I've learned my lesson and try not to throw electronic devices lol.

Told my friends I wouldn't be surprised if it came back as some karmic reversal of last week's fortunes, but felt like his lunge constituted a football move to justify the upholding of the call.

Disbelief....When they went to commercial I thought it was a matter of getting it at the inch line or a touchdown...never in a million years did I think it would be overturned.

risen star ..i will give respect.

he's played you all like a drum.

the one thing i will give this poster is that he can post without giving away his obvious love for whatever team he roots for.

i suspect it's either patriots or the eagles....

it's one of the those teams.

LOL.

Who, as a Cowboys fan didn't see this coming? LOL>.

I was happy for a second, then, when it was going to be challenged, I knew they were done for. lol.

I also got about 20 text messages from friends who are not Cowboys fans saying how we got completely hosed.

I did too...several who give me the most flack for being a Cowboys fan reached out to say "it was a catch" and we had a great season.

My good friend texted me a photo from where he was - Mile High stadium where they had the game on the jumbo tron. He said almost EVERYONE started boo-ing saying we were robbed on that play and it was BS. Interesting.... not the reason we lost imo but just interesting that there weren't that many "hater's" in Denver at least.

I had 2 Bronco fans at mile high too...drove all night 10 hours to get there on no sleep...to see them lose.
