Why would it satisfy him? He sucked here and still sucks. He might suck a tiny bit less in Houston, but not by much.

Really guys, you stickin with that story line. Maybe, just maybe, our offensive coaching braintrust sucked and he just couldn't function
with such a sorry lot. He looks miles better in the Texans offensive scheme than ours...just sayin!

Neon Deon said it best. Something to the affect that he throws a really nice ball. Just doesn't go where it needs to go most of the time.

I guess it would be funny, except that he had a hand in the Cowboys not making the playoffs. Had the team not gone 0 - 3 while he was starting he would have stayed in Dallas.

Seems to me that Weeden should be thankful, since the Cowboys paid him millions and being on the Cowboys as a freaking backup allowed him to get first team snaps every Wednesday - something almost no other team/situation would have done. So as a result he's richer by millions and far better prepared to play than he would have been otherwise.

Combine his record with Dallas, the benefits he got from being in Dallas, and his response, and frankly it just makes him come off as a complete *******.

And for the record, I'm not saying Weeden lost us those games. We were still trying to pretend Joseph Randle was a real boy, we had no Dez and the defense was missing players. Weeden played well enough here that we could have won some games had we stuck with him IMO. But not enough to do anything but hurt our draft status, and the guy made out like a bandit backing up Romo. So again, he's just an ******* IMO. "OOOOh, look at me, I led a team to a victory against the TITANS. I have exactly 1 win as a starter in about 3 years. Screw you Cowboys!"

Error #1: (unable to mention as it correlates to ownership)
Error #2: (unable to mention as it correlates with coaching)
Error #3: The Cowboys thinking Weeden was the answer
Error #4: The Cowboys thinking Cassel was the answer

all that being said, I have ZERO problems with Weeden's smugness

I was not a fan of Weeden, but Lol. This team did not get even remotely better without him here, so he can poke fun at Jerry Jones all he wants. Epic coaching fail this season.

To most people.

But over time, that will erode.

And blend in with Jerry Jones' comments that he did not do a good enough job to get a backup QB.

What great backup is just waiting for him to throw money at this offseason?

Answer. Zero.

The issue is the staff members.

You know. The same ones that endorsed Brad Johnson.

And endorsed Weeden before they ditched him and endorsed Cassel. Oh, and JG/Wade Wilson have never developed a rookie QB into a decent player before. Actually, you could argue that they never elevated any QB's play other than Tony Romo who was already groomed by Parcells/Payton and the starter when they arrived.

Scary thoughts about what could happen when Romo is gone. That's why they need to get in a new QB now rather than wait and just hope they can teach him on the fly. They can't even get a winning gameplan on the field without Tony, so how can they do both at the same time?

Jerry jabbed at him. He jabbed back.

Hoyer will start Sunday so who knows if Weeden ever sees another game snap.

Lost in this is the Texans have one great receiver in Hopkins who catches pretty much anything thrown to him & their other receivers are good. That helps.

All we had to do was tread water in a craptastic division. It's clear that the same QB can win in the exact situation for one team and not the other. A lot of people see that and feel that way. You do not and I respect you so that's fine.

The Texans are winning because their defense is playing at a level ours can only dream of. In the 8 games since getting destroyed by the Dolphins they have 15 takeaways; for the season we have only 11.

Both QBS have made very clear statements that they were told and coached to perform like they did. It is all out there and has been visible all through this mess of a season.

I guess it comes down to questioning their integrity.

Links?

Truth. Hopkins is having a monster year, while our alleged go-to guy has been a non-factor.

Weeden talks like he has a history of being great. Hard to to believe he is dumb enough to set himself up for failure. The likelyhood of him bombing the next game or in the playoffs is much greater than Jerry having regret for cutting this tool.

Hopkins has been great. And he's not even that tall. Great hands though & he will fight for every catch. Love his game.

LOL

Weeden giving the middle finger to the Cowboy organization........"enjoy watching me in the playoffs from your couch losers"

Too funny, I would probably be doing the same if I was him

Just one more person is laughing in our faces and the face of Jerry Jones. I laugh in Jerrys face every game looking at him seeth and fidget in the owners box. Until he wakes up and hires a real head coach, this franchise will continue to struggle. And lets be honest, the coach thing is not the only problem he has. He makes other monumental blunders year in and year out.
