Well, San Fran got to the Super Bowl and championship game twice. But directly after, no, San Fran certainly wasn't the same once T.O. left. He was one of the main reasons Philly saw a Super Bowl.

You're right lol. I don't know why I forgot the Kapernick/Crabtree year they looked like a legit contender. But yeah maybe I should've said they weren't the same immediately after. They did recover for a year or two. This new collapse has more to do with Harbaugh.

You seem to want to be disagreeable for no other reason than to be disagreeable. I speak of T.O. because that is the thread topic. The guy was a source of angst for several teams. You and your creator should talk.

I've said nothing about being holier than anyone so your amusement is puzzling. Have a blessed Sunday my friend. :)

Never said you "said" antything about it. Its just your angle. Its hilarious. And like I said you speak of TO as if he's a murdered. What exactly are these "character" issues you speak of? Yes he was a headache. Yes he was a diva. Holding a guy out of the Hall for his flawed character is silly.

The guy gave this franchise 2 SB's and had a hand in a third. At the time, it was the fastest worst to first performance in NFL history. And you characterize that as "good." You wouldn't know a great coach if he slapped you in the face.

He was a good coach. Not a HOF worthy coach. The fact that he was not a great coach was apparent in Miami, without 60 something draft picks and a cap, he couldn't cut it and quit. He was barely over 500 coach. (550 in Dal and 563 in Mia). 16 games over 500.. nothing screams Great. He was the HC for 2 SB wins, so that's great, but overall, he was not a great NFL coach and should never be considered for the HOF.

You said it's my angle but I've never claimed it. You seem to think my religious beliefs makes me feel superior to you. All I can say is, that's not true.

If you don't remember T.O. getting himself fired from every job he had in the NFL then consult an almanac. If you don't understand how that sort of thing would keep a guy out of the Hall then you have issues too. I'm not explaining it to you, maybe you can get someone else to care enough to explain it to you.

So it seems you now realize how silly it sounds for a guy NOT to go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for something not concerning football? That's what it seems like.

Where do you get that from? T.O. repeatedly got himself fired. That should be rewarded with HoF status? No dude, give up.

Right. Quitting is far worse. Different rules and standards for different people I guess.

You go ahead and run with that belief and good luck in life. Your BS is growing very old. Please stop and just watch the super bowl.

I think its crazy you would rather self inflict yourself by quitting because you can't handle a job over being a diva and getting fired. Yikes. #2016WAYOFTHINKING

There is nothing wrong with quitting for personal reasons. Making yourself such a liability that you get fired is way worse.

Parcells quit because the job got too tough for him. In Dallas and then did it again in Miami. He's retired 3 times........

Like Clint Eastwood said... a man's got to know his limitations. I don't like "The Tuna" either but I can live with his being in the Hall. He did give Romo the QB 11 commandments... which I regard as a good thing.

...In Dallas

Jerry insisted Bill retain half of the coaches, probably forced him to suffer Quincy at least one more season, then brought in TO against his wishes.

If you want to blame Big Bill for anything, it's getting into a dysfunctional situation.

He got four different teams into the playoffs - nobody else has done that. So he's not HoF?

I'm not arguing that Parcels doesn't belong into the Hall of Fame. I'm arguing that what he does on that field should be taken into account. Not him quitting or in TO's case disrupting locker rooms.

TO was the epitome of "fame". It is a joke that he didn't make it in. They're doing this to punish him.

People disgusted now should've been outraged years ago about Owens not getting into the Hall on his first try. The possibility was a real one a long time ago.
