1. Dez is getting healthy

The wide receiver is working his way back from a January foot and ankle surgery. But he did show at the rookie minicamp and was catching passes on the sidelines. Jason Garrett said the wideout hasn't had any setbacks in his rehab process.

Here's what wide receivers coach Derek Dooley said about Bryant:

"He's not 100 percent like full speed released, cleared to go. It doesn't mean he can't. But I think June 1 is [the target date]. The biggest thing with him is going to be the starting point, conditioning, because it doesn't matter how good you might be.

"If you're not in physical condition to run routes and to get people off you, it's going to be hard. So we almost with Dez have got to go back to square one, go back to the fundamentals. It's almost as if he's had a year off. Develop our skill sets as a wideout, but at the same time, get back into a level of conditioning to allow yourself to apply those skills 65, 70 snaps in a game."

hold on let me think..........na na nope still not concern cause theres plenty of time, Julio Jones had the same injury did he look like he's having any issues after the fact last season setting records? ummmmmmm no, and we don't need Dez out there anyway in May cough( Sean Lee) he had no business coming back in the first place last season which delayed his healing process so yes in may I have no concern right now..... None

so u can be as disturbed as you want to about me i don't operate off everybody else do it don't mean I'm suppose to be and I won't be until i feel its an issue i really really need to be concerned about ..

So yea from my perspective and the way i see the situation he'll be fine just a year older

Well hell, If Julio Jones had the same injury, that means anyone with that injury will do just fine. I'm sure Dez would be happy to hear that, too bad your sunny optimism just isn't true in all cases. Look at Hakeem Nicks... he's never been the same player since. Dez should be able to practice. The fact that he can't be cleared for practice 4 full months after surgery means he's going in the way of Hakeem Nicks, not Julio Jones. You should be concerned.

I can't believe some of you want to trade Dez. You really want to go with Williams and Beasley as your starting WRs? Zeke better be the next Barry Sanders.

Shoot Barry had Herman Moore and Perriman, they both had over 100 catches while Barry ran for like 1500. If we had to go with Williams and Beasley, Zeke would see something he hasn't seen since elementary- 9 man fronts, lol

Nobody is worried about Dez practicing right now, at least not me. I'm thinking a relaxed but strenuous offseason workout. Dez does not have to pressure himself as hard because it's the off season, he can heal properly without rushing. Hakeem Hicks was never on the level as Julio Jones or Dez, he's not a freak of nature (big, fast, strong, physical and talented)

Dez will be OK......

Hakeem Nicks was a first round draft pick in 2009 being compared to Michael Irvin at the time. Analyst K. C. Joyner stated he believes Nicks has the potential to become the NFL's best wide receiver in part because of his superior route-running. He was every bit as good as Julio Jones and Dez Bryant before his injured foot. Since his foot surgery, no he hasn't been all that and is now a free agent... Dez is on the same path.

I definitely don't want to trade Dez as one or two others have suggested, but it has been a minute since Dez looked like Dez. I still firmly believe that we will see him return to his beastly self in 2016, but he still has to actually do it, because the last time I saw the real Dez Bryant was in Green Bay at the end of the 2014 season. Is it possible that the Green Bay loss broke Dez? I seriously doubt it, but we haven't seen him since then (I know, injuries and whatnot)...

I am 100% against any anti/trade Dez talk, it is insane. However, if another season passes where he goes on and off the disabled list and fails to produce......then I am out of options of what to do with him. He needs to come back and play a healthy, full season.

Oh, I am not worried about his practice schedule at this point in time.

Dez does not get the ball enough, it's such a shame to see his talent being wasted...We need to get him the ball as much as possible..Lob him the ball once every quarter and he will come down mossing people 3 out of 4 times. I've never seen a receiver with such talent being underutilized the way he is.

Not advocating trading Dez due to injury, but the cap numbers being thrown around here are nuts. He'll cost 13M against the cap this year and it would only be an additional 3M on top of that (16M) in dead money if they dealt him. Not peanuts, but doable with a godfather-type offer.

As great as Barry was, he has been overrated as the years have gone on.

Don't worry about me, I get plenty of support through likes and private messages. Those of you that can't stand opinions that differ from yours are a crazy bunch.
You are more than encouraged to post your own thoughts and opinions. The key is for you to stop acting like a little ***** when those opinions are challenged. If you post "Happy Mothers Day" and someone responds with "Mothers Day is so overrated", then you deal with someone else's opinion and move on and not cry about it.

4 months is enough time to heal and be cleared just to practice. We aren't talking about playing a game. It's just practice and he can't do it. Yes, I'm calling it BS.
I have heard of teams not clearing players for practice, just because they don't want them to practice. Dez goes hard. The team may be protecting him from himself.

Nicks was fine after his surgery. He went for 10+ catches 140+ yards against Aqib Talib in 2012. It was when he was falling to the ground and someone stepped on the back of his foot/leg. I believe he had a PCL injury or some knee injury and tried to play through it. Nicks also had compartment syndrome in 2010 that required immediate surgery. He had a lot of lower leg injuries. Dez injury is nothing like Nicks.
