Maybe you're spoofing us...

But this makes absolutely no sense to me.

Morris is signed for another year and I'm pleased as punch with resigning McFadden, who'll be a heck of a lot less costly than Peterson.

Maybe trade Morris? If Peterson willing to play on the cheap, he's much better option than Morris. Think Hershel's second stint with Cowboys.

Having AP backing Zeke is akin to having Romo backing up Dak last season, season isn't over if starter goes down. Best back up in the league.

Yeah Peterson is better than Morris... No doubt.

But a much better value is McFadden.

For as much help as this defense needs I'm on board with using whatever spare cap-space the team has on improving that unit.

Supposedly Dallas is interested in Peterson and ware.
I like bringing in vets that are known physical freaks in their career twilight. Guys like Darrell Green, Charles Woodson, and Julius Peppers can keep contributing well beyond normal player shelf life. I'd say Peterson and Ware fit that category. Just don't go spending money on them like it's their second contract.

Adam Shefter is reporting that Dallas is interested in Adrian Peterson.

I was for this at one time, but this would be an odd signing.
Makes no sense. Hopefully he goofed and meant to report Dallas is interested in Patrick Peterson.

Absolutely spot on. Won't happen nor should it. I liked DMC last season when he got healthy. I hope we go D.End/WR/T.End/CB in the draft (in no particular order)

Yes. Odd. Doesn't seem like there's much left there.

Yeah, I'd do the opposite. If a future HOFer who can still play is willing to sign with us for peanuts, then that trumps any average to below average defensive players' contributions IMO. Enough with collecting spares for pennies on the dollar when for similar pennies you can have a true game breaker, regardless of position.

AD is about finished. He'll still give you a game but he's closer to a JAG than the Guy.

It would have to be an Alfred Morris type contract for it to make any sense whatsoever and we know Peterson won't sign for that cheap.

Dallas just needs to draft a versatile RB. Or just re-sign DMAC.

He might. You never know...Being a father can drive you to give up a ton of stuff for your kids.

He wants to play not sit. He'll do more sitting than playing if he comes "home". I can't see it.

Not having to be the #1 potentially extends his and Zeke's careers. Zeke has already talked about the most difficult thing for him in the future is playing a long time.

A wr like Jefferson makes more sense though for the offense.

I want a big name DE but none are really worth it unfortunately

For Vet's minimum. Otherwise, I'm not interested.

How about Calvin Johnson coming out of retirement and joining the Cowboys? Jerry needs to make this happen. Dez and Calvin, oh man that would be awesome!!!!

Would have made sense for the right price right after we lost Murray. Would make ZERO sense now unless I've somehow slipped into an alternate universe and Peterson is a Charles Haley type.
