Two off-topics: For a brief instant, I thought about creating an index of the Rate The Last Movie You Saw thread--giving it more of a Rotten Tomatoes/Metacritics opinion board feel for references purposes--and the next instant I thought, "That sucker's over 160 pages!" Then I thought how I post reviews within the thread, using movie posters as post headers mostly instead of movie titles, which makes Googling the thread for my reviews kinda sucky.

Your reviews are great.
I agree with most but not all.

On the whole, a thread like that by you would be a good thread.

You will find the good in every superhero movie. That's not a bad thing.

Most people will have a love or hate about the movies. Not much in the middle.... not much in seeing the good parts.

Saw it yesterday. I wasn’t really impressed.

Good:
Gal Gadot and Chris pine were great.
First 20 minutes, except for the cheesy looking cgi

Bad:

Villain lineup. Dr. Poison and her cohort were under developed and boring. Ares was a frail looking British guy with a mustache. When he went to God mode, he just got some cg armor and looked the same.
Chris Pine is a 2x German spy and only speaks English. Kind of strange.
Fight scenes were filmed poorly. Too much stop action and slow motion. Way overdone.
Plot seemed kind of pointless.

I think it would have been a lot better to beef up dr poison and the other guy and cut out Ares , since his character and plot line were so lame. It was way better than Suicide Squad, and not horrible, but didn’t deserve all the hype. 7/10

I am surprised Bob... no way I thought you would give it a 7... mighty high of you! Lol

I get your points... but if you analyze this movie... it was a WW coming out party. Everything else was very much secondary and down.

Dr. Poison and General Ludendorff were the 'obvious villains' I mentioned in my movie review. I agree with their characters' being shortchanged but I like what Jenkins did with the frail looking British guy.

Yeah, that is kind of a cop out. It could have been a great movie, but it fell really short of that. If Gadot and Pine weren't so good, it would have been really lame.

Agree to disagree. For me, it's factual

I couldn't get into because Gal's acting was so poor. One of the worst performances in a modern comic book movie I've seen. It was so bad it made me understand what people who hate these kind of films see while watching them.
