The key to this game is going to be the overall preparedness of the team.
I want to see some creativity with the offense.
I want to see some tenacity with the defense.
I want to see maximum effort in all phases so there's your two coordinators and head coach in the hot seat.
Jerry's not going to shut up, sit back and take another loss this early in the season

They have an offense that rivals the Giants, Palmer has two td vs 4 interceptions

They should've lost the game against the Colts...

The running game with Chris Johnson is very average

The WR are less than average, had no idea John Brown had dropped in talent so much...

The Colts TE's overwhelmed the cards number one draft pick Hassan Riddick and Karlos Dansby

Budda Baker is not starting but they have a real player in this guy.

Patrick Peterson is very good and might be better than anyone Dez has had blanket hims so far this season.

The Bronco game is in the rear view mirror time to man up and put on the big boy pants again.
You failed to mention the three TD drops, Palmer throwing multiple 50 + bombs with precise accuracy for TDs both weeks, JJ Nelson who is very similar to T. Hill of KC, two LB/DEs who can get after it led by Chandler Jones...this game is no cake walk for the boys. The home opener for the Cards on Monday night. While they haven't played at the high level everyone predicted out of the gate, losing maybe the best player in football hurts and it appears the Lions actually may have a formidable defense this year. As for Doyle going off--it is the first time in years a TE has had a respectable game vs this secondary and the only person Biscuit targeted was Doyle. John Brown didn't even play last week, left early in week 1, and figures to miss this game as well. His talent level hasn't really dropped off dude has a disease and his career may very well be in jeopardy.

Romo didn't play well. We'll see how Dak does against the blitz.

Romo? He won in Arizona in 06 but lost in 08 and 11. Punt block didn’t help there in 08. He didn’t play in the 2010 and 2013 losses to Arizona. Jon kitna sure was awful in 2010 at arizona though.

So I should bench Dez then....

I agree and actually think with DJ gone they are worse than the Giants offensively. JJ Nelson could get lose deep but I doubt it with our bend but dont break. More than likely Fitz will catch close to 10 balls and they will attempt to slowly and methodically beat us. CJ is far from CJ2K, but he is likely still better than any Giants RBs, as usual Im more concerned about thier scat back. We will have to contain Ellington, not that hes special but I feel like we are vulnerable to the screen game.

All and all I expect Dak, Zeke and the oline to bounce back. The defense should be fine vs AZ. In the past, with Romo on the bench this is the kind of game Dak would make a statement. I really hope our coaches put him in a position to do so.

This would be a pretty bad loss IMO. You can't start 1-2.

I read that the Cards had 5 guys out on offense last week. Anyone know the injury status for this game?

Hard to play the if game so early in the season, they are more out of sync than the cowboys on offense.

The cards are terrible starting with Palmer who appears the worst version of himself this year or his WRs just aren't open. We have to beat them if you want to talk playoffs, can't lose to these chodes and think we will pile up enough wins the rest of the year with our schedule.
Huh! Huh! He said chodes.

If the Cowboys win it'll be a dog fight. They have to be watching this team and thinking they can win this game too.
Of course that game against the broncos is going to be standard scouting material for 2017 and the DB's in Zona are very good.

It's gonna be a similar gameplan Denver used, Peterson will lock up Dez Bryant and they'll load the box to try and stuff our run game.

I hope this game they use both switzer and Beasley together on the field to beat the blitz.

They have to spread teams out when they want to stack the box. It baffles the hell out of me when we line up in 12 and 13 personnel to counter a stacked box. Get defenders OUT of there, don't invite them in!

Going with 10 personnel is the way to counter a team who wants to stack the box. Make them get out of those looks, no defense will willingly put a LB on Switzer or Beasley. That's the recipe to get favorable matchups inside. I love Jason Witten, but he's not a great blocker anymore and doesn't do anything to warrant teams getting out of 7/8 man boxes when he's in the game.
