Listening to Bryan Broaddus, he's heard from people in Miami that Ajayi's knee is a real problem.
I don't know if it is a current issue that may hamper him this season or just a long term concern.
His knee issue was the reason why he wasn't a high draft pick two years ago.

Not just the bad knee.
There were also some kind of locker room issues.
Someone in the twitterverse said that them trading him sent a message to the Dolphins locker room to straighten up or something along those lines.

This'll be a boom or bust signing for them. Lots of talent, lots of attitude, and questions about the knee.

I was more worried when the got Pumphrey, honestly. Just glad he looks like a whiff right now. Imagine them with a young Sproles right now.

Imagine them with an "old Sproles" right now? I really thought they would have missed him a lot more than it appears they have.

This signing means nothing. That dude is just a dude. No better than what they have already.

I do not see it that way. He is a 1-2 yr rental for the birds. They currently do not have a lead back and he can help them this year.

Ajayi is sort of like a brand-name Christine Michael with a balky knee. It was a good trade for them on potential alone, though. On top of it being insurance for next offseason.

Ugh....we have NO one right now that Elliot us gone for 6 games. Please dont tell me Morris or McFadden is better. Please dont. That is a steal for the Eagles. They just got so much better. They are going to be hard to catch. I think our season is over anyway now that Elliot is gone but hope im wrong

But everybody on here thinks the Eagles already won the SB because they traded for Walter Payton. How can this be????
And don't forget they have the greatest qb that has ever played the game according to some. It would be monumental task to keep up with them. In fact just to be on the field with them would be quiet the honor.

Don't know if it's damaged goods as much as it's he's on borrowed time.

Think Ron Leary but as a RB - bigger deal

You think Ajayi outperformed the Cowboys lead back the next six games?

People also talked about Ron Leary's knee ever since Dallas signed him. You just never know.

But I wouldn't expect anyone in Miami to be saying that they "gave him away".

The fact is that the Eagles have been fleecing the Dolphins for the past few seasons now.

From Byron Maxwell, to Kiko Alonzo and helping the Eagles to draft Wentz, and now this.

It's like some weird sort of inside job.

My buddy is a Dolphins fan he told me the Eagles and Dolphins GM are best friends.

This is an exaggeration.

Most of the angst comes from the fact that they are cruising at the top of the division and still felt to need to go out and get a player to help them improve.

That is an aggressive move, whether it pays off is anyone's guess. But it was a step towards not being fat and happy when there is talent available.

Meanwhile, in Dallas, crickets. Then the silence is cut with a tinkle of ice hitting the bottom of a glass, then some Johnny Walker Blue being poured over it. "Ah. We like what we have.".

Not sure what that so called player we can get to help us improve. And with our tough schedule upcoming. We all knew our young secondary would have growing pains.

I don’t think he is a great fit. Eagles would be better off with a back with more speed they is a threat in the passing game.

He is likely to lack passing down and goal line work....and he is a better back if he gets the bulk of carries, not as a committed guy. Eagles are pretty good at finding RB’s that don’t fit their scheme.

Alfred Morris is better than Jay Ajayi. The dude is a JAG.

He will get more opportunities as a receiving back in Philly. Not sure why Miami didn’t use him that way more. He is a very capable receiver. 50 receptions his last year @ Boise State. Howie Roseman mentioned this trait of his specifically

Kellen Moore set the all-time winning record for an NCAA quarterback at Boise State.

Ajayi is a locker room cancer and a mediocre running back.
