Negative, my red, furry friend. Just tell DTV that you want Sunday Ticket for free. Do it about a week before your contract is up and call their direct customer retention line. Are you suggesting pirating copyrighted material? Because I'd never admit to pirating copyrighted material.
Lol! I don't know if I should be proud or offended! No. The other mods don't like you.
I'll still be here, though. I'll just not be paying what I'm paying for NFL season games. Too many other options out there now, and just screw the NFL for treating their fans they way they have been lately. They're killing the product, and if they're going to collectively affirm that's the direction they want to continue to go in, I guess it's up to us to let them know it's a bad direction. Otherwise, it'll just keep slipping further and further into 'unwatchable.'
True, I've heard something similar. What a mess.I think a lockout/strike will happen no matter who is commissioner.
In fact, I think the upcoming lockout/strike is a big reason why the owners wanted to extend Goodell.
It would suck not have a season but depending on the results it may be worth it in the long run. I hate to say this but I almost rather have no season at all than some weak 8-10 game season nonsense.Yep. There might not be a season. We get to hear "5th District Court" a million times again.
The deal runs through 2024, with Goodell’s compensation expected to top out at a maximum of nearly $40 million per season, though close to 90 percent of that pay would be tied to incentives.
Good for you, brah! Maybe his personal jet will have engine failure. Not that I wish harm to him or his family. Just not able to fly to his 4th home, wherever that may be.There's an inverse relationship between Goodell's contract and my Sunday Ticket, then. I think I'm done.
So, it sounds like not only did he NOT get his $50M a year request, but it's mostly incentive based and maxes out at $40/year.
So, hopefully he only makes $50,000 next year.
It rarely goes that way in negotiations. I highly doubt Roger expected to get that much, and I doubt he's upset with the deal. You always ask for more than you think you'll get.
I'm sure the incentives will not be all that difficult to achieve. Bottom line here, like it or not, is that Roger won.
Incentives based off revenue, I assume?
