Well, Philly may be going to the SB, but at least we still have a process.

Jerry listens to the fans and media. Zeke suspension and Dez so called decline let him off the hook. He has no excuse next year. Dak isn’t in a sophomore year, Zeke will prob play all year and the wr Corp will get improved. He has no more legs to stand on when he fails.

Like I said months ago. The giants winning two did not phase him. Why would the eagles winning phase him?
Per some fans, they think he thinks like they do.

To an extent.

Overall, yes. He thinks just like your average fan.

But only they were rich, had accomplished more than most owners ever had (key on the word "most") and make their money regardless, things are exactly the same.

Jones does not care about the franchise legacy. That is why he does not care that other teams are going to lap the franchise soon.

He cares about what HE has been associated with.

He has no pride for the franchise for what it was when he bought it.

The sad thing is, he doesn't even care about the 1990s bar for excellence and getting back to that pinnacle.

Can't disagree with this.

Unlike many members of Cowboys Nation who are having a hard time stomaching the Eagles making it to the Super Bowl, Jones said he was impressed with Philly’s ability to win despite the injuries they sustained, including their starting quarterback Carson Wentz. “I’m impressed to understand the challenge it is to adjust and come up with a different way to use different personnel and win the games,” Jones said. “They did it and it’s worthy of recognition. I don’t want to get into favorites, but I’m really proud that we have an NFC East team in there. That does make the difference. We’ve played them twice and know what kind of defense they’ve got. I wish them well.”

And addressing Jason Garrett’s status, Jones was asked if his head coach is on the “hot seat” after a 9-7 season and missing the playoffs for the fifth time as a full-time head coach. Jones understood the question, but didn’t exactly agree. “He’s not on my hot seat,” he said. Jones reminded the group that Garrett isn’t far removed from the NFL Coach of the Year after the 2016 season and said he hopes Garrett can win that again next year, knowing what kind of team success that would signify.

Why didn't the media ask this followup question: Pederson in his 2nd season made it to the Super Bowl with injuries to key players. JG in 2016 with a fully healthy team couldn't even win one playoff game. How is JG winning Coach of the Year relevant when he couldn't even win one playoff game as the number one seed with a healthy team?

Coach of the year awards means nothing if you keep getting bounced in the first round of the playoffs.

How many times have you personally been ridiculed by other fans regarding this picture?

Guess what, our owner was "proud" of this moment as well.

I’m that way in the Big 12 now that A&M is gone. I usually root for NFC teams in SB except 49ers and our division rivals. But the Eagles with an empty SB trophy case is comforting .

Mostly I root against teams which can pass us in SB appearances and wins. And that might be what Jerry is doing. Kraft is afterall only owner this era with more rings.

I would rather see them get real close as a fan, only to lose to the GOAT in the final minutes. Heartbreak. :)

He also said "Dak-Friendly" in the interview.

What an original concept.

I am so excited to see how this brilliant concept works out.
Dak friendly would be getting a te that can stretch the seem and moving to something closer to a west coast style offense just for starters. The latter would require moving on from Garrett!

Dan friendly would be a good defense.

So much for the stupid idea some people had for the concept that Jones cares that the Eagles and Lurie could win a Super Bowl.
Isn't that sort of what he said when the Giants won the SB?
