Other than a few games (2, I believe?) in 2016, he’s basically missed two consecutive seasons ...and a LOT of practice time with the team.

As long as Gregory’s still on a cheap contract, where’s the harm in keeping him around?

Dude needs to play better than he currently is, to justify all the BS he has put the team through.

That being said he hasn’t played much and DE takes a while to learn. So I haven’t given up on him yet.

Just hoping he can get through the remainder of the season without any problems. I'm sure the second half of the season will be better than the first and if all goes well next year he'll be even better.

DLaw is good: He also lines up against the other teams 2nd best offensive tackle while Gregory and Taco line of over the LT, the other teams best. I withhold judgement until I see him get through this season, go through a full off-season, and start next year.

Made a starter without ever doing anything.

Makes you wonder about Taco's development since he was a first round pick.

I think we cut them because they have no potential.

Right......people want to.forget that a lot of people on this site called Lawrence a bust. Byron Jones to. Taco Charlton as well. Gregory may never fulfill his potential but it may be too soon to tell.

Lots of DEs take a while to get going without having long gaps between games. He's out there and not a liability.

Tank Lawrence had 1 sack in his 1st 17 games as well if I'm not mistaken. It came in his 17th game of the 2014 season against Detroit in the playoffs.

Lawrence is on his way to getting a long term deal worth big bucks from the Cowboys or someone. Point being, Dallas fans should know 1st hand that judging Randy Gregory off of 17 games is narrow minded.

He was out for basically 2 full seasons. Still learning the NFL game since he's hardly played in any. But keep on expecting every draft pick to be HOF'ers and is a bust if they aint.
