that is on coaches, and jones boys, they dont want him to run.
did you see any read option tonight ??..... no just the same stale offense, amazing we got 22 points.

and dont blame the defense, with O going 3 and out so much, and top being lopsided, and the rams are the best offense in NFC
527 POINTS DALLAS had 349 I think.,
plus wade probably helped point out weaknes in dallas D was with the run and mcvay exploited that.

That's one problem.....we have a running QB and Garrett won't allow him to run....because if he gets hurt we'll lose the game.....except for one thing, we lost anyway because we didn't let Dak run the ball when needed. So you might as well let him run and win!

and don't blame the defense, with O going 3 and out so much,

The defense allowed the Rams to run the ball down our throats from the Ram's very first possession. The defense wasn't tired yet, they were just LOST! And it never got any better.

Thats a misleading stat though honestly. a wealth of those 3rd down playcalls were in situations that the team knew they'd go for it on 4th.

Doesn't that mean a wealth of those third down failures were probably third and short? Seems to me that is even worse.

Maybe Goff can throw the ball and run a more complex offense than Mr. Slow to Read and React Dak. I mean he was a number 1 draft pick and Dak wasn’t for a reason.

Maybe Dak’s limitations is holding back play calling..

Maybe you go out and find a McVay like the Rams did. McVay has saved Goff's career. He was trash under Fisher. Coaching matters period.

Man, I get how people have Prescott concerns, but are people blaming him for this loss?

I don't blame him for the loss, but I think this game shows quite convincingly that when everything else isn't working to a T, he's not a QB who can compensate and compete.

That said, this is another Garrett loss to me. His ability to not come up with anything resembling new is his mutant superpower.

I blame the defense for the loss. I will say that if Dam were more accurate this could have been a shootout. The Rams aren't that good. If Brees were passing for us tonight the Cowboys could have won a 35-30 type game.
As you should. People were losing their minds about losing Richard.

Hey, we got him tonight.

First of alll, Goff had one year under Fisher and wasn’t even tagged the starter.

Second, Linehan has done more than an adequate job for Checkdown Charlie... this team plays it close on purpose with a QB that plays it close like in college.

Sean Mcvey was under the legal drinking age when we hired Jason Garrett to head our offense, before even hiring our head coach.! Let hat sink in. But hey, I’m sure Garrett will figure this whole playoffs thing in a DECADE OR TWO

It's almost impossible to put into words how awful the defense was today.

No words needed. Just look at the numbers. The LA Rams had two backs go for over 100 yards and each averaged 5 to 7 yards per rush. That’s pretty much the whole story. Evidently, the defense is not quite the burgeoning “elite” unit we were hoping. The Colts kicked their teeth in the same way during the regular season and the Rams did it even more convincingly tonight. It’s been a truism forever: If you can’t stop the run, you aren’t going to win many games. The Cowboys have some good athletes at LB and on the defensive line but they also need to get some run-stuffing oomph in there or they’re going to keep getting pounded by power-running teams.

Anyway, the better team clearly won tonight and it’s on to next year for the Cowboys. Hopefully, they can build on this season and improve. I think I’ll be pulling for the Saints the rest of the way. If they win it all, at least we can take a little solace in the fact that the Cowboys beat the champion during the regular season. (But, whatever happens, I pray to the Football Gods that the Eagles don’t repeat!)

It was too noisy to hear at the bar: What the Hell was that "In the grasp" call on Dak, giving the Rams a sack??

Basically was a “Blow the whistle so the QB doesn’t get blown up.” When in reality the play was still alive

Seriously? Is that another of those "never been called before" rules?

I’m sure similar has been called. But never that terrible
