Randy Gregory to open a chain of pot shops in Nebraska.
David Irving to become a marriage counselor.
Jerry Jones writes a book: "How to be a great GM".
@J817... lol.
Based on what we have seen out of these 3 clowns I'd never discount any of those as possible.

If Im Jerry Im letting Dak play out this season and then looking to bring in a rookie QB with a rookie contract. Im using 3 first round picks to trade up to draft Trevor Lawrence if he declares in 2020. The idea situation is to trade Dak because he has some value and bring in a FA like Fitzpatrick to get this offense tuned up for a good passing game when Lawrence arrives.

If Arizona has seen enough of Rosen after 1 season then why would I want to take the guy they dont want and replace my starting QB with him?
Since you hate paying QB's I guess the plan would be to trade Rosen in a few years before we have to pay him also?

So far the only Rookie QB from last year that would be worth consideration is Baker Mayfield. Darnold, Allen, Rosen, look like the next Blake Bortles or Ryan Tannehill. They were overdrafted because they play QB.

Their HC hasn’t been there, and loves kyler. And I don’t hate paying QBs, I don’t like what Dak specifically is projected to make and see this as very unique opportunity. And it’s not just to avoid paying a qb, it’s to avoid massively paying one while replacing that contract while replacing it with 4 more yrs of rookie pay and receiving some premium picks to boot. But I’m reality I’m not really for it either. Just spitballing because it’s the off-season

Call me crazy

But I’ll take the Qb that’s led us to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years and was a game away from making it 3 out of 3 years

So you're trading an ascending 2nd-3rd tier quarterback who's created a good rapport with one of the best receivers in the league (not to mention a second round player with promise) and replacing him with an immobile player that has not established himself as a proven starter in this league. In doing so, you've narrowed your offensive diversity because Rosen is not a running threat and isn't nearly as likely to escape the pass rush.

In exchange, you're saving cap space and the ability to draft a couple of players that you aren't sure will ever be productive, much less superior to the players you have now.

At the most important position for every team in the league. Hmm.....

Presuming your interest in the trade is born of the notion that you'd like your preferred team to be more successful in the real world, let me suggest that discounting the psychological impact of replacing a well-liked employee in the top leadership position of your organization is foolish..... hypothetically speaking.

Good points. Think you’re really trivializing the cap space, but I get it.

Fran Tarkenton.

I just want to point out that Tarkenton was probably three inches taller (6'-0")

At first glance, Murray looks like someone's kid brother in a pick-up game that
is faster than all the bigger older guys. But that cannon attached to his shoulder... wow!

I'm sure he'll be exciting to watch. Hopefully the bigger older guys don't catch him.
Personally, I think he should've picked baseball.

I wonder why Watson, Prescott, Wilson, Newton, RGIII, or Kaepernick never got such a benefit of the doubt that good ole Baker seems to get...

Oh, I wonder why...

Because football fans generally prefer pocket passers at QB? Why isn’t Warren Moon on your list? Or Tim Tebow?

Yeah man. His arm looked so good last season throwing only 11 TDs and 14 INT's. That 66 QB rating really gets me excited to see more of it.

The dude throws the prettiest interception Ive seen in a while.
Thats what happens when you try an carry a team as a rookie QB without decent coaching, running game or oline. Rosen is cocky and might be too much of a gunslinger who doesnt know his limitations but that still doesnt meant he doesnt better arm than Dak.

The Cardinals are not going to trade away Josh Rosen this year. The Arizona Cardinals are not going to draft Kyler Murray in the first round. I know this. Stranger things have happened in this league, but I do believe the Kingsbury/Murray thing is being totally overblown. Saying that, if IF I’m wrong and for some reason the Cardinals decide they have seen enough of their first year QB and decide to move on, what should be the Cowboy’s response? Also consider a Josh Rosen trade will be for a first round pick (in the Cowboys perspective it would be their 2020 first if they decide to offer).

Also know, I am not a Dak basher nor am I a Dak apologist. I guess I’m somewhere in the middle. This is just a question.
NO NO WAY NO HOW...they will want a kings ransom for him and we dont have picks to waste on guy with Potential when we have that already with Dak..if we were goin g to do that why not use the next 2 drafts first rounders and go after Murray? why take the one AZ is trying to get rid of for the one they want..Hypothetically.. lol

if you want an insurance policy for Dak go grab veteran to back him up like Fitz or Tyrod or maybe someone along that line..Dak is fine and these Hypo BS vailed knocks on dak are useless , Cowboys are extending him within month..hes here get used to it..

Rosen has better arm than Dak.

And Dak runs faster, but which is the better QB? Right now it is Dak, and there is no certainty Rosen will end up being as good or better than Dak. Why would we give up a 1st round pick for someone that isn’t clearly and comnvincingly a better player than we have?

It also doesnt mean he does.

This arm nonsense is as useful as drafting a WR high in the first because he ran the fastest 40 ever recorded at the combine.

Dak has better legs, leadership, and brain. I'll take these and you can have the guy with the best arm. Ryan Tannehill and Blake Bortles both have better arms. Who cares.
