Many kickers don't get UFDA contracts, but just invites to camps.

That may be the case, but I'd hate for us not to get Orozco just because we only offered an invite and he took someone else's.

I don't if the other tight ends don't play well enough to keep his numbers down. I agree that it's not a firm number. I think it's just their way of saying they plan to limit his snaps. Plans go out the window, though, if he's clearly the best tight end on the team, which he has been throughout his career.

The other tight ends will have to show that Witten deserves to be held to limited snap count. If not, I don't doubt he'll be playing 80 to 90 percent of the snaps again.
Whiten will tell the coaching staff how many snaps he takes. He and most of the other starters answer to nobody but JJ. That is one of the main contributors to the downfall of this team throughout the JG era.

Just watching Hangin with the Boys... Chris Hall (Assistant Director of College Scouting) asserted that we got everyone signed by last night, and so the UDFA part is done now.

And yes, he still looks like Kyle of Last Man Standing to me... maybe a few years older, but not much. :D

Really really like the Wise, Hyatt and Westry pickups!

Wise could push Ross off the roster. DT is really starting to look like a plus

Hyatt - Eventual backup swing tackle. Dallas is going to love this kids work ethic

Westry - Still don’t know how this kid didn’t get drafted based off numbers alone. 6’4, 4.3 40, never missed a game. No character issues either.

Been going over the draft and looking how other teams drafted....and it's becoming obvious the teams that know what they are doing...and teams that don't. Teams like Tampa Bay, Houston, Jets....their screw ups push kids off the board that should get drafted.

Amazes me in this day and age of information... how some teams can be utterly clueless...reach for picks...and have no idea how to build a roster.

I still can't seem to find anything on Grambling State K Marc Orozco. Anyone have an idea where he ended up? I'd like for us to bring in someone who can actually challenge Maher.

MARC OROZCOK, GRAMBLING STATE TIGERS

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline writes that Grambling State K Marc Orozco was "the star" of the Dallas Cowboys' local pro day.

Per Pauline, Orozco connected on 10-of-10 field goals, one of which came from 62 yards out, and additionally showed off a strong leg on kickoffs. This past season, the 5-foot-9, 170-pounder was good on 12-of-16 kicks. He would be unlikely to land in the draft until the late late rounds, with undrafted free agency perhaps his likeliest path to an NFL roster upcoming.

Yeah you should replace him because your so smart and know absolutely everything
It doesn’t take a genius to see that he says one thing and does another, but thank you for the compliment. I will say that I am not as smart as you. For the life of me, I can’t figure out if your user ID is English or some other language.

His size reminded me of Merton Hanks. He would need a full offseason to add muscle.
I hope this kid don’t have the extra long neck that Merton Hanks has. I used to hate Hanks’ and that silly strut he done after making a play.

OK. I've seen enough of your schtick. Have a good life.
My schtick? I didn't know showing you when you are wrong is a "schtick". If you weren't wrong so much of the time maybe you wouldn't see so much of it.

It's been like this since Jimmy left, with the exception of the Parcells era.

This part I know. I don't know where he's going as a UDFA. But thanks anyway.
