Can we see Coop in the red zone ?

Where does our offense go in the redzone ?

Is Garrett's playbook just blank when the team makes the endzone ?

I'm not talking about Prescott either. We went from a very good receiver in Dez Bryant to an even better, yes I said better, in Amari Cooper. Just wanted to post a thread about how much I appreciate Jones and Company for getting Cooper and how nice it is to see a great route runner perform. I loved Dez but I like Amari even better. He just seems more polished, for lack of a better word.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this because the board seems to be so involved in Dak getting his money and the draft and all that it forgot about how lucky we are to have #19......Oh, I didn't compare 19 vs 88 statistically....don't need to. I'd take Cooper over prime Dez.........

Well, I guess in an era where we have very little else to celebrate, we need to cling to whatever we can to maintain a false sense of pride.

It was an All or Nothing trade.

Anything less than turning the season around to make the playoffs would have been a complete failure.

And he saved Daks career. Another missed playoffs the way it was going would have brought much uncertainty.

If you go back and listen to what Jerry and Stephen said, even they did not expect the Cooper trade to catapult this team to a division title and a wild card win. It would be delusional to believe that Jerry foresaw the result after the Cooper trade. The problem was that this offense had no playmakers, and the FO refused to address them before the 2018 season. I don't know what they were thinking. We could have signed Allen Robinson, Trey Burton, etc.. fill in the blank player. The team was very lucky Cooper went off the way he did. No one on this board expected him to have a couple of two hundred yard games and play as well as he did. My hope was that the FO has learned a lesson.. sometimes it better to be lucky than good. Bad process but we somehow got a good result.
I feel as though we have take the same approach this off season. We need help at Safety, DL, Passrusher. This is the time to try to win a SB, and we are hoarding salary cap space. Think SB before you win it. Dream big Cowboys.
Think like Jimmy Johnson, not like Barry Switzer.

They absolutely do. This franchise lives off its past glory. Now it is nothing more than a Jones Family Vanity Project.
