Maybe but a guy named Snake Lee and Witten who's never been talked about in a good way by any players that leave. Leaves me some doubt
Ahh, you side with the culture wreckers who try to throw people under the bus on the way out. That explains a lot.

Nobody does "player/coach" like the Cowboys.

http://www.espn.com/blog/dallas-cow...nfl-players-add-to-the-cowboys-coaching-staff

Not only do they lead the league in former players on staff, but now they're in the business of having coaches on the roster, like they did with Kellen Moore in the past and now with Lee and Witten.

If only that strategy would pay off?

You would think that the Cowboys would learn to let go of some of these guys. MYbe it really is about jersey sales.

They definitely get too attached. Once you're a Cowboy, you're a Cowboy for life. You can always go home again. Nobody does the Prodigal Son like the Jones family!

If those are all our worst contracts then we are doing pretty darned good.
Two of those are HOFers and really aren’t that much money by nfl standards.
Crawford is high but at least he’s a reliable and quality player at his position.
Hurns is the only bad one i see. He will probably get cut. Taco is still a rookie.

What's up with the SLee hate?!!
This is an important and transitional year for Sean's career. If he is still high impact, then he doesn't miss a beat and will extend his career about another 2-3 seasons, somewhere. Cap room is projecting a lot more scrutinized, going forward from this year's contracts. Those being negotiated as well.

Sean had some doubts come forward last season, and paying him to where he had previously earned, is on the table and has to be shown to continue going forward. It's a prove it season for him, as harsh as that remains. Cap is relevant to this current Dallas Cowboys team...just ask Stephen Jones.

As far as bad contracts go for NFL teams, these aren’t so bad.

Crawford is the Swiss Army Knife of the DL, Lee and Witten are once dominant players that can provide veteran leadership for a team with championship aspirations, and Taco, although disappointing so far, is still young.

Only Hurns contract makes no sense at all, and with the WR depth the team has brought in, he’ll never make the team at that salary.

I’m thinking Dez, Ware, Church, Claiborne, Beasley, Murray and others would tell you that’s not the case.

Now you're trying to claim something else entirely, that nobody ever leaves. That was never claimed.

He'll never make the team at that salary. Plus he can't stay healthy. So an injury prone backup making 6 million. No thanks, I'll pass.
