I never seen anything about the pulling the top down was part of it. I seen where they said it was disturbing but was not part of the process
I do not think they meant that would part of the suspension but more a contributing factor but it didn't really matter, none of the people could unsee that video or the message it sent to them. And I do believe it affected their opinions about his respect for women.

If he weren't already under investigation involving how he might have possibly treated a woman, that video would have been nothing more than a shooting star for a few seconds. But I have to consider how would that affect my thinking if a player that knows he's under investigation goes out and gets himself in the news at a bar and then at the parade.

I don't know about y'all, but if ole CC had done that to his wife at the St. Patty's Day parade, I'd been known as CouchIsMyHomeCoach.

Yep, some don't like that over here but I actually had one poster tell me that was a little light for ole Boogs. He thought that was a little too kind as the nickname Booger is not an uncommon one in the South, I grew up with two that had that nickname.

ES, I think if I actually met the man, I might let it slip if I conversed with him long enough because I've been calling him that for so long. And posters should get it, I do not do that out of malice as I did the previous one. I just think a billionaire opening his palace on national TV and doing that on his own Boogertron was a no brainer. Honestly, I was surprised everybody wasn't calling him that, especially after the outcome of the game to christen the Big Top.

I heard this was on the wall in the visitor's locker room. "Booger, thanks for the hospitality, really enjoyed my stay.....Eli".
Back in the day when we were traveling with the Travel Club at one of the team hotels we let it slip out at one of our breakfast with the players and coaches our nickname “Jethro “ and a local writer picked up on it.

The one in my circle who came up with it is no longer with us but we all still use it as second nature.

There is a certain "attitude" with fans In enemy territory that I would not have appreciation for had I not lived in PA during BuddyBall. Easy being a fan in Texas or even in LA or ID but as strong as the love is for the Cowboys, that's as strong the hate is in those areas and it can manifest itself into physical confrontation. That who's your second favorite team? Anyone playing the Cowboys probably originated there because that's been strong for as long as I can remember.

If I haven't said it here, I did there. I really appreciate the battles you Cowboys fans in PA, NY, and the Skins territory endure and I think you're special. Just as I had a NYG neighbor that proudly flew his colors on game day but there was a difference, he was from NY. Some of those fans in enemy territory I've encountered have never even been to a home game yet they're as staunch as any season ticket holder.
Moving into enemy territory is one thing but being from enemy territory you kinda of make your own bed not rooting for your local team which I’ve never understood.

hypothetical here...what if Zeke DOES get sat down for say 2-4 games, what happens if Pollard,Weber or some other guy not yet on the roster, shows out and is a stud? Do we then explore trading Zeke? Or do we let him ride the pine and only let him have spot duty? I'm not kidding...I can forsee some scenario happening like this. Wouldn't this be on Zeke for being a jackass in the first place? Just a thought. My old coach once told me, no position is safe and anyone can be replaced, ANYONE. Zeke apparently THINKS he can do whatever he wants without losing his pecking order...

Oh, I understand that completely. We had a thread on the old forum about how fans became fans and the locality can be a part of that; however, I was only about that being an Arkie.

Sometimes, it's family induced and that works both ways, sometimes it's a player, the Chargers were my AFC team because of Lance Alworth and when the Cowboys came into being, I liked their unis better than the Cards and eventually I had one NFL team, not two. I was a Raider fan because of their unis, the Mad Bomber and they were one of the few sports teams to live up to their logo and origin.

I was not a fan of any other Dallas team, dumped the Mavs and Rangers because of owners and hockey is a good waste of ice.

I think if you asked those that live in enemy territory, not from Dallas, you might be surprised by what created their fanhood. We all have the tendency to filter fanhood through our own.

Ya know, if he hadn't been in trouble before, this would be nothing. With the NFL, it's not as much as what they do as it is how it looks. And evidently, following Cowboys around with a camera is a hobby for some.

Damn, some of the stupid things I did when I was younger are bad enough just telling someone but to have video evidence? No thanks.

Elliott is just a turd. Not a good person at all. That's really the bottom line here.

I'm guessing he'll get suspended 2 games.
This team is nothing without Zeke.

This is not the first time we have had problems at RB before.

Duane Thomas was exactly like this.

He was a huge distraction but the HC controlled it and they won a SB with him.

The Patriots have had guys that murdered people and they still won SBs.

Let's stop making this worst than it is.

If Zeke destroys his career..we can do nothing about it.

Let's relax and watch what happens.

Surprised she didn’t hire the girls to model for her Victorias Secret store in AT&T. Actually, maybe she dud and that’s why they “disappeared” so quickly.
Yeah, NFL owners are held to a higher standard.

if he don't get it yet, he never will. Stupid is as stupid does. On the field he is a beast. Off the field, apparently a mental midget. Its sad too. He could be so much more in life if he would just grow up.

It goes right along with the story line that some of these football players are just lucky to have the talent and athleticism. Because otherwise they would be bagging groceries or end up in jail.

I don't necessarily subscribe to that story line, but it certainly feeds into it when you see this kind of stupidity.

There was no need for Zeke to even get in his face and body bump the guard. There was no reason for him to be in that girl’s face either.

There is no one to blame here but Zeke himself. He needs to be smarter.
That’s like asking water to not be so wet.

The guy is a moron. This incident would be no big deal unless you're already under the microscope. Zeke is his own worst enemy and after this he doesn't leave much doubt that he's been just as stupid in the past.

Meanwhile no official announcement on the likely review of Robert Kraft's Florida prostitution indictment.

Is Robert Kraft suiting up on Sundays. Who gives a crap? That's a slap on the wrist.
