we forget about the toughness and tenacity Romo had. Aikman had NUTHIN on him that way. Dude played with a bad back for like 2 years in a row...broken clavicle..like 3 times...and played with that injury I think for a couple games. Dak is a tough Hombre...but lets see him play thru some gnarly stuff like Tony and Troy did.

This is so stupid. Comparing Romo with Dak. Tony actually MADE plays with his arm. Dak does make passes and runs for first late in the game. It is such a big difference. It is not even close.

Dak does not make plays with his arm. Dak is very efficient in the 4th qtr.

There's a stat out that Dak killed Wentz in 4th quarter comeback, so I'd say Dak has the skillset over Tony at this time in their careers.

Remember, when Tony was in his third year he was still turning the ball over.....that Bills game he had 5!!!!

Remind me who won that game...seriously.

The results are the same whether he's using his feet or his arm. Folks are all off subject talking about Romo playing with pain etc...They both won games. Romo has done more but Dak seems to make less mistakes in the 4th so far. Maybe it was the heartbreaking loses via interception that are burned into my mind about Romo.... Dak has my vote...

Romo had a larger body of work and had many clutch plays. The Buffalo game on Monday Night Football where he singlehandedly willed the team into position for the GW field goal was just epic. Haven't seen anything like that YET from Dak. Have to go with Tony right now,but Daks story is still being written..he's just in chapter 1. lol
Single handed? No he didn't, he threw 2 short passes on the last drive and Folk bailed us out. The on-side kick off got us to midfield.
Good God, he threw a franchise record of 5 INTs and a fumble.

end of the game..HE BALLED WHEN IT MATTERED...ie CLUTCH. No one is saying he didn't play badly up to then. WAS HE CLUTCH? YES. Folk was a beast at the end...so it took everyone to win.

Look, I'm a huge fan of Romo but that's the absolute worst example of bail out. He threw literally two short passes from MID FIELD! Nathan Jones and Nick Folk are the hero's of that game.

Dak by default. Tony isn't in the league so doesn't qualify for the "is".

All what...3 of them?

Tell me, why does a game ending on an interception hurt more than a game ending on an incompletion (or a completed pass short of the sticks) if the result is the same?

And he won with a clutch last drive.
Hardly. 2 short passes after an on-side kick recovered by Nathan Jones mid field. Then Folk with a FG.
2 short passes don't trump 6 turnovers.

Clutch is the San Fran Game I think it was in 2011 or 2014 where Romo threw the game winning TD pass to Holley...played with a punctured lung and broken ribs.

I was at that game, 1st one I brought my eldest daughter who lives out in CA now.

What a game, we were behind nearly the whole time. I was in the mezzanine right above Romo when he went to the locker room with the punctured lung and broken ribs. He was so pissed, kicked a water bucket on the way to the LR which would have been a good FG from 30.

Before the pass to Holley, he led a drive to tie the game with a few seconds left in regulation. He noticed a breakdown in coverage and he told Holley to look for that play if they showed the same coverage. Holley was caught before he could score, but we did kick the game winning FG on that drive in OT.

Clutch and good times!

Romo was extremely clutch, especially later in his career, 2011-2014.
He had a crap ton of comeback wins & game winning drives. Would have had more if the defense didn't blow it so often.
How many times did Romo lead the team down and take the lead late, just for the defense to give up a last minute TD or FG to lose the game?
A lot.
Dak's clutch too.
Thrives in the fourth quarter.
Plenty of game winning drives and a few times he put the team in position to win or go to overtime only for the defense to blow it last minute. Happened against GB in the playoffs and in 2017.

Tony Romo was a great QB who put up amazing stats.
In my opinion, he was seldom clutch. My Cowboys buddies and I were always waiting for him to choke in the clutch moment.

Actually Folk made 2 FGs, because the Bills called a TO just as he kicked the 1st 50 yarder, so he had to do it again.

A win is a win and it actually counts as a 4th quarter comeback. See how they can be skewed.
