I don't think his 1st suspension was crap i think he deserved it but putting that aside lets look at all of his other dumb *** moves

1. Walking into a pot shop
2. Pulling up the top of a woman in public to expose her breasts
3. Punching a guy in a bar
4. Knocking or pushing a guy down while intoxicated in vegas

nothing there warrents jail time but it does go to his thought process and immaturity. Cowboys should let him at least play out the 4th year of his deal before offering him a new one. besides he was the 4th overall pick and was signed to a 4 year 24.5m deal as a rookie (just over 6m per season, if you include the 5th year option that average moves to almost 7m per season) It's not like he was the 28th overall pick and got signed to a deal at a quarter of what he got, he is not underpaid at the moment
total crap 6 games auto for non proven DV which put him jeopardy of Lifetime stuff..if they wanted to make point give hi one or two games for the OTHER non essentials stuff,,this is young man enjoying life and the stuff like the shirt, done it ,it was a friend of his BTW not stranger, sure make better decsions but the stuff hes doing most of us have done or had friends do while in our Collège or party years..sorry unlike US, hes being followed around by cameras, SM, TV, and harassed no matter where he goes, should he try harder to avoid this stuff, yes but hes not a FN criminal and didnt deserve to 6 games as you see Thill go ZERO..thats BS..

you can put stipulation in the contract thats an excuse that wont fly with him ,agents etc he wont play his 4th year under original contract as Esmith didnt , he RB that can be used up and spit out and he wants his money now and avoiding the being cut after they run him to death.. I dont blame him for demanding it now as other RBs have started to do, they realize whats going on and its not fair really..Esmith held out before he signed his rookie deal and before his 4th year..Zeke deserves it and again its smarter to redo it now have him 3-4 years under the new deal which is only 2 more years so we can have him for his BERST years earning that money..

Or...have the man-child actually play for the contract he signed and see if he can finish a year without acting like a mental midget.

or everyone can show they are immature as many usually do on here and call the players names.
And I was not all that serious.

They will not break the bank on player the league is dying to ban for good. Has to be intelligent contract that is heavily based on being on field.

Yes I know that, the post was in jest to all the other posts and threads against Zeke.

Well i disagree with you, maybe we should just leave it at that since it has been debated over and over on this forum. I think the evidence proved he did it or did something, you don't, as for the other stuff i posted that all happenned and it shows his lack of judgement, none of it is jail or suspension worthy but all of it is just plain stupid. For the record in 2016 i was on the edge of my couch screaming at my TV for the Cowboys to draft Zeke, i wanted him to be a Cowboy, but all of his actions to this point say to me we would be better of without him after his deal is up

And some fans ignore or excuse bad behavior.....Emmitt Smith never held out, he didn't have a contract, Zeke is under contract on a deal he signed, he has no leverage, he either plays under the final year of the deal or he can hold out and not get paid but the Cowboys would have his rights.....
yes he did he didn't report until he had the contract way over his position he was drafted, thats ahold out , he did hold out after his 3rd year didnt show up for 2 REAL games, thats hold out.. ahh the short memory with our beloved HOF platers who were not perfect..everyone talks Arogers being a little PDRICK but Troy was a total awesome person to most and didnt hang with his teammates half the 90s team were thugs getting IN trouble all the time , man if we had Social media and the Cameras and cell phones back then etc, wow and RG policing them we may have never won a SB..perception bro..so soon we forget noone was saying cut them all we were signing thugs hired guns..different day and age we live in and expecations on some of these players is unfair..

not an excuse Zekes young and doing immature stuff but when he come s to work his teammates, coaches, and most fans respect him and hes the only players at the moment that deserves top pay for his postion..the other Amari and Dak are far for tops at the positions..

I not arguing his talent, he is a $100 talent in my opinion, unfortuneatly i think he has a .10 cent brain. I also said i think we should keep him until his deal is up then let him go

then weve seen the last of him.. if you are ok with that fine he won tallow himself to be USED UP , he is holding out and I understand why.. its the thought process you have and teams have with RBs..its working you can put many safeguards in contracts to void them or cut player for violations etc,, thats bad excuse not to sign arguably our best player..

He's not holding out this year past Aug 6th because if he does as per the CBA he loses a year to FA, that's not going to happen so he will report and play this season, next season he can hold out and lose nothing but money and if he were to play and tank this season unpurpose then he would only hurt his own negotiating stance for the future

An extension added to the end of his exiting contract, or a new contract after voiding the old agreement?

good for us but if im the Cowboys I want a happy Motivated Zeke on the field not disgruntled unappreciated player, who instead of playing through pain can choose to miss as many games as he wants "injured" claim a concussion fake the symptoms, too easy Bra..it makes way too much sense to give him around 14 for 4 yrs right now.. add clauses for suspensions that can severely lower pay etc 3 yrs guaranteed.. thats only 2 more years and hes FN worth it IMO..im leaving it at that and the FO should feel the same..

Smith was a restricted free agent, he wasn't under contract, so he didn't hold out, Zeke has two years left on his deal, he's holding out...don't compare apples to oranges

he was not its storys burned into the internet it was a holdout, he only played 3 seasons, how did he become a RFA? He was not a distraction? not making demands he made history twice with his holdouts,

you my friend have short memory, he had 1yr left on his deal in 1992 and HELD OUT period end of story..you cant miss two games if not under contract lol "But he was set to make just $465,000 in 1993"

Emmitt Smith ended the longest rookie holdout in Dallas Cowboys history today by signing with the NFL club.

"Owner Jerry Jones announced the signing, but terms were not disclosed.

Smith, the 17th player selected in the draft, set 58 Florida records as a running back before leaving school with a year of eligibility remaining.

He signed up for 12 hours of classes and returned to school late last month after failing to reach agreement with Dallas."

"Emmitt Smith led the league in rushing in 1992, and helped the Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory that season. But he was set to make just $465,000 in 1993, so he held out for a deal that would more closely reflect his level of production. Smith missed the first two games of the regular season, both of which the Cowboys lost. The team finally came through with a deal worth $13.6 million over four years that made Smith (at the time) the highest-paid running back in league history, and Dallas became the first team to lose its first two games and then go on to win a Super Bowl in the same season. "

Zeke is in asimilar psotion ut worse when it comes to RBs these days being used up worse with FTs and TT and the cap.. He has right to demand money now knowing his fate..sorry its true..

To me its clear that Zeke doesn't want to play for Garrett anymore .

I’m not making a guy the highest paid RB when he continues to have off the field incidents and the team has spent the last 2 off seasons looking for another RB who can provide explosive plays because Zeke rarely breaks anything past 8-10 yards anymore. I’d let him holdout or trade him if a decent offer came along.
