i wonder if he is that type of player that only plays according to his motivation.
i found it bizarre that he was talking more about his agent, than his coaches in post niners game interview
maybe all the bust talk has gotten to him, and he is seeping out more effort.

I said it before and I'll say it again.

Taco is going to surprise some people this year.

Totally agree, both because DL take time to develop and because the "taco sucks" meme here has taken on a life of its own.

I think the main issue with Taco is how many snaps he gets, he seems like a guy that needs a certain amount of snaps to develop and play well. He didn't really get that last year but he looked solid last night.

I had to suffer through the Rams broadcast and they were complementing Taco, when they only spent about 5% of the broadcast talking about Cowboy players.

He is getting close to his second contract. If he wants to make coin he best show some performance. He saw what DLaw made through on field performance. What's a better motivator?

Certainly this is not about team and character and doing one's best 110% of the time .

Like I hear so much of the time ... it's a bidness baby !

he won't get his 2nd contract here - especially if he is not in the bid to be the incumbent starter opposite Dlaw, and there's nothing to suggest that
he will be.
Even with his encouraging preseason play, hes' still not a difference maker. If not for his continiuing substance suspension issues, Gregory would
be more of an investment plan than Taco, who has every bit the look of a rotation type than bona fide bookend starter.
