But little consistent pressure. Nobody is winning the one on one's. I'm not gonna lie here but I'd play taco next week. Hyder and Armstrong aren't worthy of being active.

Quinn is back and is the best pass rusher on the team. He gets Miami to knock the rust off before NO and GB. Watch what I tell you about Quinn

in the end, final stats, it all counts....but last week, first game, we gave up 170 yards in the first half and 200 yards, by the time it was 28-7. at that point, it doesn't matter. lots of empty yards. in the 4th quarter they put most of the backups...this week, game in control until 5 minutes of 4th quarter....up by 17...gave up a garbage time TD.....just padded the skins stats and made defense worse that it really was...in all they have given up 24 points when it mattered.....the rest was garbage time.

I will give them credit for drawing some good holding calls early on. But they do not pass the eye test. The offense should be good enough to make the playoffs but there are a lot of offenses on our schedule that can tear this defense up if they can’t get pressure or an occasional turnover.

Yes. This D is designed to wait for the offense to make a mistake. That can get us a long way, but it won't work in the playoffs against teams like the Rams, Saints, and Chiefs or Pats if we get that far.

Same as last week, people whining about the defense even though both games were handsomely won. The defense is fine. Fans saying that NY and the Skins are garbage don't realize how hard it is to just win ONE game in the NFL, not to mention division games.
We didn't bring many rushers and the bend-don't-break allowed yards, but stopped scoring.

The secondary played very well. Could have had a couple of INTs, but one would have actually given us worse field position. There was pressure up front, but I guess two solid wins go unnoticed unless we shut teams out. Which almost never happens in the NFL.

Don't know what it was this week but last week were 13th in points per drive and 13 th in pressures, both are avg against avg to below avg offenses and that might be me being nice. They haven't been horrible but they have been far from good. Better offeenses would've made it a lot worst.
