I’m only being somewhat sarcastic. As most of you know, I don’t value the RB position and I certainly don’t value Zeke (I literally just deleted an entire paragraph so we don’t get derailed) but there was plenty of support for Zeke sitting out and some even encouraging it because they thought he wasn't getting paid enough. Why not Dak? He’s clearly worth it, that’s not even debatable at this point, and he could get injured against Miami. I’m not even being sarcastic here, Zeke was rewarded and he’s arguably much less important to the team so why shouldn’t Dak sit and if he did would you support him?

I would! And after so many people supported poor Zeke I can’t help but think Dak should get his too, he’s done everything right and continues to prove his critics wrong every week.
Dak's great play is a direct byproduct of having Zeke in the lineup! Get that through your thick skull!!!! Lol!!!

Do you want to give a team that I believe is not all in this season reason to go all out? Sit your starting quarterback because you think your opponent stinks and they will wake right up. Bums or not, you'll get maximum effort from them.

You're right that Dak is more important. Especially the way he's playing now. But don't think Zeke doesn't help him in the backfield. No one's giving a second thought to Pollard back there. Play action might have 0 effect. With the Cowboys attacking the entire field now, and I can't believe I'm saying that, Zeke poses a real problem.

Exactly!!!!:thumbup::clap:
The difference between sucks and SB caliber really isn't THAT much in the NFL which is why they say "on any given Sunday"...Miami would be pissed off and play like a SB team if we sat Dak.

Come on @aria, tell me you're trolling.:laugh:
I’m really not, god knows I wasn’t in favor of Zeke sitting out but a lot of people supported him. I don’t like any player sitting out and I’ve always been quiet about Dak but he’s clearly proved his worth.

My “sit out” comment is somewhat tongue and cheek but for all the the people who supported Zeke sitting out, I’m curious to hear why they think Dak should or shouldn’t sit.

Jerry already set the precedent and caved, every game Dak plays without a guaranteed contract is a huge risk so why take it?

Wow, just when you think a thread couldn't get any worse.....
Do you care to answer the question and address the topic or just sit on the sidelines, snicker, and not add anything meaningful to the conversation?

And if Dak puts up 350+ yards and 3-4 TDs against Miami (which is in the realm of possibility for ANY QB playing Miami at this point), wouldn't that bolster his contract status?

Dak contract will be taken care of and as leader of this team Dak will continue to play as his agent will handle the contract.
I agree 100% but why should he risk an injury that could potentially void all of that? Zeke didn’t, he could plenty of support and Jerry bent over, why shouldn’t Dak do the same?

Absolutely. Dak gains leverage every game he plays but he’s also taking a huge risk, one hit and it’s over. Why shouldn’t he sit now and get his guaranteed money?

Because Dak isn't that sort of chap.

Dak is the ultimate Company man as we have seen with some other high octane situations, This is absolutely why Jerry will sign him to big big $. The kid was raised right, speaks intelligently like he actually received an education at home and at school. The kid is raking it in with his All American charm, why would he change anything at this point? He has the winning formula that America loves, at the end of his playing days the kid will be a legend in the Dallas area. So far he has made all of the right choices unlike so many other losers that we continually see paraded throughout the NFL.

Trap game peeps.
:laugh::lmao:

Heard the same thing about the Giants and then the Commanders. Miami is HORRENDOUS! Never in the history of the NFL has there been a fire sale like what’s going on in Miami. BREAKING NEWS...New Orleans “s’aint” all that either, they’ll be lucky to be in the top 10 in 3-4 weeks.

Exactly! He's intelligent, and I even know a lot of Eagles fans that I've talked to who like him off the field. He's a class act, and I hope that continues. We need more players with the personality of Dak.
