Gallup read the coverage correctly. Prescott didn't.

The ball was underthrown and Gallup has to stop and adjust. The ball was also thrown to the outside , but it should have been thrown to Gallup’s inside. It was simply a bad pass and Gallup had to do a lot just to stop his momentum. He was lucky to get his hand in the ball ar all.
Norman was playing inside leverage. Kind of. He was either baiting Dak or lost. By the time the window to throw the 8 is open the ball is already in the air.

That is a miscommunication between Dak and Gallop but more on Gallop than Dak. Watch the replay and see how Gallop runs at one speed and then turns on the jets and almost outruns the ball in the air. The pass wasn't bad because Gallop tried to adjust to the ball but was shoulder high which means it was a good throw. If it was near Gallop's knees or feet it would have been a bad throw. If Gallop adjusts to the ball in the air it is an easy TD.

Compare Gallup's route to Smith's route on the TD and you'll notice Smith runs a superior route making it an easier throw to hit him in stride for the TD while Gallop runs his route at different speeds.

If Gallop runs his route like the week 1 long TD that Dak completed to Cooper it is an easy catch and most likely a TD

Says the guy who said he “will never like Dak as the Cowboys QB no matter what, I have my reasons and I’m not sharing them!”

Your opinions on anything related to our franchise QB are completely baseless, but thanks for stopping by!

I’m just glad that Dak is kicking your butt and ruining this era of Cowboys football for you.

I was at the game...believe me the sun played a big part in that play. The visiting team especially for a 1pm kickoff sits in the sun the entire game. If Gallup turned to the inside he had a face full of sun.

Looked like Gallup lost the ball in the sun to me.

He's great at tracking the ball so i'll blame the sun haha.
Look to me the ball sailed on Dak a little, and if Gallup could of picked up the flight of the ball a little earlier and adjusted

Just say it...Dak sucks. 30 other QBs could have completed that pass.

Pass. Singular. That's where we're at. I mean you're wrong about this one but just stop and think about what you're whining about. You're nitpicking a guy who's completing over 80% of his passes. You literally said he can't connect with a guy who's 4th in the league in yards. It's honestly so dumb it's difficult to respond to.

So many people are more than just football ignorant. Yall are straight blind from bias.

No one is whining.

I believe if the pass was better it would have been a TD. You believe the pass was good, but the WR caused the incompletion.

This is the exact point of the thread, but one is "nitpicking", "dumb", "ignorant", and "straight blind bias" if you think that the pass wasn't right and caused the incompletion.

If you have ever seen the movie "Ghost", the scene when a bad guy dies and the demons come out of the woodwork and drags them to hell. This is what happens if you make a disparaging remark about anything Prescott does.

Aaarrrrgggghhh, I took the side that it was a bad pass, aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh, help me, help me!!!!!!!(as I being dragged into the CowboysZone abyss)

LMAO

It happens. hence the low completion rate on deep balls.
No need to blame anybody.

Game Pass has the plays listed and you can just click the play you want to see or you can watch like normal.

It's all done over the internet like watching youtube.
Really, I've had game pass since it came out and didn't know that...I'll check it out, thanks!

I don't why you guys are trying to have any meaningful, intelligent conversation with that guy. He ALREADY admitted that he dislikes Prescott for some unknown personal reason (oh, I wonder what that could be) and states he will never accept Prescott as QB of his favorite team. He is bias. Anyway or for any reason he will blame Prescott.

I think it best that we collectively ignore him and people of his ilk.

I have shared my reasons repeatedly. Dak is ruining nothing for me. I always want the Cowboys to win, but I would rather see another QB starting. There are two more players that I don’t care for either, but that is a different matter. It sure does bother you though.

Now we have the Borg!

All the drones in the collective must unite in groupthink to protect Queen Prescott and banish all who cannot be assimilated.

I have gave Dak credit for his good passes, but this is not one of them. It was an underthrown pass to the outside. If the pass was accurate, Gallup would have never broke stride and the result would have been a TD. I know that is hard to stomach for the Dak sniffers, because it is always somebody’s fault other than Dak.

He’s a joke and doesn’t even know it. And we all know why he hates Dak. Just can’t say it here.

Yeah after watching the replay again it seems like a very easy adjustment had there not been a vision issue. It looks like, if he had seen the ball, he could have just run a bit towards the sideline to make the catch, not even an adjustment per say. Cant blame that on Dak at all.

To me, if Prescott throws the ball like he did for Street, to the inside and leading Gallup, it's a TD.

Gallup need to stop and turn to catch the ball. The right throw and it's a TD, but it wasn't so it was incomplete.

It's amazing how many times Gallup has been open for huge TDs, but Prescott always seems to make a poor throw.
Did you watch the play. Gallup looks like you said to himself I got it, I got it, I got it at the last second nope I need to readjust. Something happened other than just a bad throw that you claim.
