They did. It was just enough. We lost. So it wasn't just enough. But it just shows you, you don't have to score a lot of points. Just have to score more than the other team.

What?

They only needed 50 yards to get into field goal position. That's more than enough time to accomplish that if you don't take a sack, which they did. It's usually an automatic with guys like Brady and Brees.

Only a stupid player or team would attempt to block a kick from a kicker trying a 70-yard field goal. And last time I checked, the Saints don't have any Leon Letts on their squad.

To me, it's the most likely unlikely option there.

Because your best odds are probably on drawing a PI.

Depends on Maher's range in practice. They can estimate his max range even when he's not kicking it from 70.

If he's over 10% from 70, I would have gone with the kick. I would bet that he is.
