So please name the season where Romo had 48 interceptions?

The talent level between the teams Romo had and Dak has now is night & day difference. Romo had Laurent Robinson. Dak has Amari Cooper, Gallup, & Cobb. Romo would have been very thankful to have the O Line & Defense that Dak gets to enjoy.

Romo also had a prime Dez, prime Witten, TO, and Austin. And I’m not defending anyone. But both had good talent around them

Romo had some loaded teams as well.

Yes, Romo had games like this. Some people put all the blame on him and others didn’t put any blame on him whatsoever because he had to “run for his life” and “carry the team”.

Same thing will happen with Dak.

Gosh, I hope not. I'm sure some will be happy with that since they feel Dak unceremoniously dethroned Romo.

I'm not putting the blame on Dak for this. He can't catch the ball for Cooper. He made some nice damn throws throughout the game. The defense played absolutely terrible. They were destroyed on the ground yet again.

Fall behind early, have to play catch up and be one dimensional. QB has to do everything and throws 3 picks doing it.

Nothing seems to change here in Dallas.
Geez hate to admit it but was thinking the same thing . I was like heck this is what everyone wanted big stats now they have ruined my QB. In all honesty, the new rules and the officials trying to enforce them are making football unwatchable . What a terrible product no continuity, run a play wait to see what the flag is

Then after they really screw up wait for the totally bogus makeup call

Too funny............they all complain that Dak doest throw for a lot of yards and TD's. They open up the passing game and he is throwing for 320 yards a game now and 2-3 TD's and all of a sudden the picks are a problem. LOL

And this coming from Romo cry babies.

Of course they pick his first 3 pick game to chirp about it.

Dak under Romo circumstances with a bunch of journeymen OL like Davis and Holland with Choice and Julius Jones in the backfield and Garrett calling plays and not even allowing the QB in game planning meetings..

Championship!

Now a completely different team same results! That’s a red flag..

He really didn't. He had probably three good teams his entire tenure in Dallas. 2007, 2009, and 2014. And with the exception of 2014, those 2007 and 2009 teams had huge weaknesses, particularly when it came to pass blocking. Kind of important for a QB.

I can go back and look at his rosters but the Cabo year stands out. We had a pro bowl roster that season.

Im a Romo fan, so dont get me wrong. He often played with a crap defense or no running game. He did have weapons though and there were several years we had good teams as well. Romo just couldn't get us over the top.

In the earlier years he tried to do too much because he had to. In the later years he couldn't stay healthy. The timing just wasnt right.

I won't however disparage Dak by comparing his wealth of talent to Romos lack of skill players. Romo had TO, MB3, Demarco, prime Dez and prime Witten. He had weapons.

If Romo had the exact same stats Prescott did tonight = HOFer.

We have some clinically insane fans.
I do remember Romo getting a ton of praise for the 5 INT game against the Bills. They came back and won but Romo was the reason they were losing in the first place.

This team from coaching down is a dumpster fire. Dak is part of that, but most certainly not purely at fault.

That is the simplest most logical take possible. I dont know why some on this board need to pin it to one player. It was a comedy of errors.
