Where was the ball control against GB? The key to win against great teams is ball control. Keep the monster offenses off the field. Airing it out works against crappy teams. EzE was getting 7-12-15 yard runs. Yeah we were down 14-0, but we should have stayed with the run, or short routes.

The short game works and it doesn't cause INTs. We can kill a team slowly, but it's not exciting.

We have the best RB in the game and now he's a second thought! We should be utilizing EzE as NO does Kamara.

It seems like they had their game plans crossed up. The game plan against the Saints should have been used versus Green Bay, and the game plan versus Green Bay, should have been used versus the Saints.

I agree take what the defense gives you.

No need to force anything.

They'll grow weary after awhile and that's when you hit them with the deep ball.

Solid take. I didn't realize that, but now I can see it.
Thanks, yeah I think we were too conservative versus a Teddy Bridgewater led team, and not efficient enough versus an Aaron Rodgers led team.

Change it up depending on the game and circumstances. We don't have T Smith, so we stay with a 5-7 step drop plays? That's just plain stupid. We could have beaten GB with the short game. They damn sure killed us with it.
This concept is so simple yet our coaching staff, along with most of the NFL doesnt realize this. There’s a reason NE keeps winning super bowls, they change up their identity depending on the opponent. The problem with this coaching staff and most of the league is, they all have this “this is what we do and we’re going to do it no matter what” mentality. Coaches are too stubborn to switch things up and until the rest of the nfl realizes this, Bill will keep winning super bowls.

In the end, it's gonna kill all of us from BOREDOM..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... and we will go from America's team to the ranks of college ball....

Again all this sacrifice for an inept QB we have under center dang?????

I prefer to have a team that can hurt you in multiple ways, dinking and dunking shortens the field, secondaries and linebacker start to creep up, why not punish them for it. You want the players that we have in space to maximize their YAC ability. Both our wide receivers and running backs can get behind coverage, why not use it. If you think that's the only way we can be successful you're doubting Dak's or KM ability to maximize our personnel.

Well that has to be the game plan coming in, these coaches find it hard to make small adjustments.
Game plans are very important, and you are right, they should have gone in thinking lets run
60% and short pass 40% , run ewok and pollard have at least 35 carries between them.

But kellen is an ex QB who liked to pass, and he thinks he can pass on anyone with dak and our
offense, and may take awhile for him to realize you gotta have pass protection and time to throw, and guys have to come open for that to happen.
2 weeks in a row our wr have been covered like a blanket, for 80 % of the plays, and dak has over thrown some of the ones that got open.

Question is what will their game plan be with jets, and then with the egals??
Is kellen learning from his mistakes?? or will he just keep making same ones over and over?

LOL...…….Another guy that didn't watch the game.

1. It was the defense that lost the game before halftime.
2. Zeke is nowhere near the best RB in the league. In fact...……..where is Zeke?

Dak is balling out like Mahones. MVP candidate no question about it.

I agree, the game plans should have been reversed. Heavy run against the Pack and air it out against the Saints.

But that would take a competent head coach to realize that and well, we are kinda missing one of those at the moment.

So what was the game plan on defense? Allow Green Bay to score at will?

The problem was the defensive line scheme against the Pack, the DTs were lined up way too far apart and the DEs would either try a loop stunt back to the interior or they would rush wide trying to maintain containment on Rodgers I guess is what they were thinking. The result was it left the interior of the line totally exposed and with simple trap blocks the RB was having a clear lane to the second level on almost every rush.

The Eagles did the exact opposite a week earlier and used A and C gap penetration to disrupt the trap blocks the Pack loves to run. The result is they totally shut down the Pack run game. You would think we would look at what the Eagles did and try to copy it, but no. These geniuses decided to do the exact opposite.

And we wonder why the Eagles won and we lost.

Kellen needs to Combine his offense with little bit of Dink Dak to keep moving chanis.

It’s really a combination of Pats & Atl offense.
