we’ve already been through this many times Mrs. Garrett..

You can be as wrong as you like as often as you like in the internet. But what you’re saying is ludicrous.

I know the truth hurts you deep down Mrs. Garrett, that’s why you try so hard... 19 TOs in 8 games in that power-house Jason Garrett offense, with 8 in their last 2. Less than 40 yards rushing in their last three games.

Still lost to the Giants when Wade’s defense generated 5. In the first game of the season, Garrett calls a pass play with like four seconds left at their own 10, that leads to a fumble by Choice and a score by the Commanders, leading to a loss of 13 to 7 and he disappears for three days.

That Garrett power-house couldn’t even muster more than 7 points against a trash Commanders, but continue on..

One thing has always been said about Garrett: his teams "fight" for him on game day.

I think that's being strained right now and we saw it stretching the seams on game day.

So we saw an offense that looked DOA against New Orleans. The defense held the opposition to 12, which should always be more than sufficient in 2019, so it's hard to complain about the defensive effort. One game fluke, maybe? On to Green Bay.

The offense starts hot and then crumbles after the interception killed the first drive. The defense, well, we all saw it. Meanwhile, the sportscasters are talking about a lifeless Dallas bench.

Then, Jason Garrett, usually calm and clapping, gets flagged. That doesnt just happen to The Clapper. That's gotta be frustration.

Contract year, offense and defense looking like hot garbage, penalty on the HC. Are we watching the Jason Garrett era take a Wade Wilson "lost the locker room" turn?

It does have a sense of poetic justice, doesn't it?

Or is this just the prelude to another playoffs one-and-done or, worse yet, a week 17 elimination that bizarrely keeps Jerry Jones coming back for more?

What say you Cowboys Zone? Is JG about to lose this locker room?

I think you mean Wade Phillips...

The answer to your question is no. Whether you think he is a good or bad coach (totally different question), the locker room has and will support him.

Ok. Your point is terrible, and demonstrably untrue. It's also irrelevant because you're complaining about a change that happened 10 seasons ago. Doubling down only makes you wrong twice.

I always kind of felt sorry for Wade Phillips, he wasn't really allowed to bring in his own staff and got hamstrung with Garrett, a guy up until that point in his career has never called any plays. Also knowing one day Jones will let you go because he hired his HC in waiting before you.

I'll be glad when this thread dies because every time I check this forum I have 5 new alerts from people thinking they're super clever for pointing out the wrong name

I think it's possible.

I saw more chaos than I've ever seen on a JG coached team.

Cute..

I’ve owned you so many times on this issue Mrs. Garrett and all you come back with is, “it’s demonstrably untrue” when the reality is, as thus thread shows, It was I that demonstrated it, but all you have done is spewed forth denial, motivated by the love of your husband.

now your trying to say I’m complaining, when I’m doing nothing of the sort Mrs. Garrett. This thread brought up Wade and I said this team never quit on Wade. Garrett’s offense blew chunks, that a couple years later Jerry stripped Garrett completely of all offensive responsibilities, including play calling which you already know, because every time we have this conversation where I own you, this fact that you have no response to is brought up.

You then Inserted yourself into this thread like you always do when I own Garrett, trying to deny the PAST happened and now you are complaining about me ‘bringing up the past’ in a thread that brings up the past. But carry on in you taking the L.

You’ve never owned me. The best that can be said about you is that you’ll keep replying no matter what. Which means you’re stubborn, not that you have any idea what you’re talking about. Being dug-in isn’t a asset when you’re as wrong as you are here.

If he were losing the team we would have lost 34-3. Wade's team quit on him when he was fired.

This has to be one of the worst threads I’ve seen all season and there have been some terrible topics especially the past couple weeks. I feel like this would be a semi worthy discussion if Dallas didn’t put up 500 some odd yards and get the game to within two scores.

Sunday cannot get here soon enough

jerry brought garrett here as an oc with the express idea that he receive ojt and eventually become the head coach. the question is...……...who taught him? I have seen no improvement in garrett in his tenure with the cowboys. not on offense or defense. he's the perennial "warm body" that takes up space but does little. he doesn't bring in competent coordinators or assistants. never developed a wr until sanjay lal was brought in last year. same for te's. seemed more than content with the likes of scando, carr, wilcox and church until the clean sweep of the d-backs. wasted Byron jones as a safety when it was obvious the man is a corner. the sooner he's gone the better for the cowboys.

Don't see this team giving up on Garrett, not in the slightest. In fact after he got mad and threw that red flag at the innocent ground, the team caught on fire. To little to late, but the fire to play was intense. They should take out their collected frustration on the Jets. I only hope they can do the same to Philly. Then a sweet bye, time to rest and heal. Then the schedule becomes a Killer. They had better be focused and not all wishy-washy or touchy-feely . But no, I can not see them not playing for Garrett!

The only stubborn one is you coming back like clockwork every time to defend the honor of your husband Mrs. Garrett, even when he got demoted from play calling by Jerry himself and told he wasn’t going to touch the offense.. but your love story continues to be cute though...

if that’s true, then don’t reply and this can end right here.
